I stayed in this hotel over the weekend of F1 racing in Spa-Francorchamps. Very nice hotel in a wonderfully peaceful part of Netherlands (close to the borders with Belgium and Germany). Large room, comfortable bed, big, clean and luminous bathroom. The breakfast was nothing short of outstanding. Quite family friendly hotel, not cheap, but a good deal anyway. The area is kind of bucolic, agricultural land, which however lies some 10 minutes (driving) from Vaals, 20 from Aachen, and some 40 minutes from Maastricht.

Beautiful hotel in the countryside

Amazing location not too far from the Aachen CHIO Horse show. We loved the amenities (pool was excellent) and the breakfast buffet. Rooms are spacious and bed very comfortable. Wish we could have stay longer. We will come back next year.

This was perfection

Starting with a warm welcome at the reception, then checked into a well maintained and super clean room with good amenities, a good shower and a super comfortable bed. Relaxed in the beautiful Spa and finished with one of the best breakfasts ever experienced. Highly recommended

Really nice surroundings and rooms. You don't stay or eat in the main 'castle' as it's private property but in the surrounding buildings. The sauna wasn't functional during our stay. Fitness room meets basic needs.

The restaurant at the hotel was fully booked so we had the option to dine at a small bar at the hotel or drive to the nearest town which we eventually did. The main photos used to promote the hotel show a updated modern rooms. Our rooms were 80’s style and had not been modernized. The gym equipment is also 80’s and the photos shown online hide this. Hard pillows with heavy stuffing. Fantastic breakfast!

Comfortable hotel in beautiful countryside

I was only at the hotel for one night and arrived late. However the receptionist was friendly and said they would open the gym for me at 6am (instead of 7am) as I had to leave early. Breakfast was standard hotel fare with something for most tastes. The scrambled eggs were overdone but everything else was good. Coffee was a bit weak

+ Room was large and looked nice, bathroom likewise, clean and spacious, seperate toilet which is very nice. Bed was a tad soft but comfy, nice linnen. - Distance to the room was too long and so where the flight of stairs, no aircon, coffeefacilities meagre, tv set rather small and programming extremely basic.

Very nice countryhouse castle stay 5 star

Very nice hotel with castle/ countryhouse behind the castle a beautiful garden with trees hundred years old and a small lake. The rooms are large and well equiped, a littlw warm. Bathroom okay, with a separate toiletroom, which is nice. We liked the bistrobar in a old water mill which is more relaxed than the formal restaurant. The breakfast is in a nice glass hoise connecyed to the countrhouse/castle. Very good collection of food organic. We have had a couples massage which was nice, indoor swimming pool and sauna’s are also nice to go to.
