Low price for a reason.

First the room booked threw Hotels.com they would not honor, made us book another room. The room had a horrid smell so potent it made us gag, turning on the AC and shutting off the heat helped some. Bed was not very comfortable either. only up side is it was close to where we were headed and cheap. guess you get what you pay for.

There is nothing unique about this old style motel. There was an iron to iron clothes but no hair dryer. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The person who signed me in was courteous and helpful.

Horrible, not worth a dime to stay there.

This place is the epidemy of a dump. The room was filthy dirty and disgusting. There were blood stains on the doors, walls, and floor. There were burn holes and stains on the bedding. People were hollering and screaming all night. I tried to find another place to stay, but everything was booked. I tried to sleep in my car, but that was not safe, many strange people lurking around. Then to top it all off, I used my credit card to hold the room, and my son paid in cash when he checked in. Somehow, my card was hacked there and now I have charges in other places that I did not make.

Adequate place to stay for the night. Staff at front office were patient and helpful. Rooms show wear but are clean. Had problems with TV remote, no volume or mute control and could not turn TV all the way off. Screen continued to glow when turned off. Manual on/off button on side turned it all the way off.

Review of our stay.

The room was clean. We had to plug in some wires in order for the TV to work ( something the cleaning staff should check).the heat was on and we couldn't get it to lower so we ended up turning on the AC and opening a window. The breakfast was lame a Tupperware container with bagels and Danish.a loaf of bread and a coffee maker with 2 small pots for coffee.(we ended up at Denny's). Overall, not terrible, not great , just ok. And we could only get 1 key for 4 people

Owner doesn't allow visitors or walking past 11pm.

The room was surprisingly clean for the atmosphere. However, the lady who worked the counter who I'm guessing was also the owner was the problem. I didnt have a charger box for my phone so we had to sit in the car to charge. The lady first stopped me to tell me that it's past 11pm and I'm not allowed to go outside. Then since my friend got out of work at 11 she wasn't allowed to visit me. I said she's not staying, didn't matter. Said she has a full hotel and I'm not allowed to walk the halls past 11. I told her she's not allowed to tell me that, it's not a hostel, or a prison. She said she's going to kick me out! I said for going to my car? I never heard of a roadside motel saying I can't go to my car because it's past 11pm!

Dreaded Stay

Besides the convenience of distance from my son's school, my stay was not comforting. First off, no vending machines, no ice machines, you have to purchase limited merchandise at the front desk and if no one is there your screwed. The room smelled of very old and stifling( had to buy air fresher), the Bathroom had no ventilation and the bathtub was slippery( had to use flip flops). The so called continental breakfast was bad coffee or tea, slices of wht bread or english muffin from Lord knows where and busted up toasters that were run down and burned no matter what setting you used. Even for a night's rest, it's not worth money

Don't be fooled by the humble appearance. This place is very well kept. The room, although showing normal wear, was spotless, the king size bed very comfortable. This is NOT a luxury property, but for the price and location, you would hardly expect that. The owners and managers display real pride in their business and are attentive to the comfort of their guests. The manager told us his motto - if you go one step, we'll go two. Modest breakfast included, rooms equipped with decent window AC unit and mini fridge. Decent shower, large flatscreen TV, free wifi. I will stay there again if my usual accomodations aren't available.
