"From arriving, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and easy to walk to and from the train station along with all the major tourist attractions. The room was clean, comfortable and big enough for myself, but could be a bit cramped for two people - although it would be doable. I got a room right next to the elevator and had other guests making noise late at night and early in the morning which was inconvenient but that’s not the hotels fault, just be aware the ambient sound does travel through the room"

We used Porterservice to send our luggage back to Oslo, and staff were helpful in taking & keeping the luggage safe, until it was picked up early next morning. Excellent location for walking around, close to shopping."

"Amazing 97 year old hotel! Directly across from the train station and a very short walk to the fish market area and hiking areas. It is beautiful and elegant inside. The rooms are extremely large for the area! The views are wonderful! Great breakfast which is included. You won’t be disappointed! "
