very beautiful resort, only 10-15 minutes walk from ubud central. only had one issue which was lizards, sometimes they were able to sneak into our villa, but that's really not their fault as ubud is located in a rain forest lol, I'm very afraid of lizards and the stuff was soo kind that they moved us in a more fully enclosed modern villa which was their top of the range with no extra charges. the resort itself its located in a very cute location surrounded by the forest and many picturesque views. I really recommend for anyone planning to stay in ubud to go and check it out.

The property was exceptionally beautiful. The pools were amazing. The staff other than the reception clerk when we checked-in were very good and helpful. He had to be told to help us with the luggage and I carried a couple myself.

This resort could be so good, but it is let down by out of date facilities. The gardens are beautiful and grounds are great, but become slippery and are not lit up well at night. The rooms are not well sound proofed and the surrounding area is noisy all night. We moved to a back villa, but could hear the neighbours even at low talking volume and when they climbed their stairs it felt like they were in our room. The staff are very friendly and, but some were over keen to sell us extra tours and services.

I checked into the hotel only to find the bed sheets were filled with blood stains, bug marks, and general filth. It was clear the room and bed had not been cleaned. Upon contacting the front desk about the situation, asking to have either the sheets cleaned or to check if a different room was available, I was told nothing could be done today and I’d have to wait until tomorrow - before being hung up on. I immediately checked out, and yet they still won’t process my refund through Expedia despite not even using the room whatsoever. Immensely dissapointed, you can find so much better - and cleaner - in Ubud. Not having blood stains should be the bare minimum!

The room is spacious and staff were lovely. The rooms are a little “rustic”, with frogs, geckos and mozzies all sharing the space. But maybe that’s part of the Bali charm.

第一天晚上發現房間牆壁有一排螞蟻在爬，數量頗多，但因為環境算半戶外感所以也不會去打擾螞蟻的路徑。除此之外晚上想用shower時也發現石板地上有很大一群螞蟻…所以只好改成用浴缸那邊的蓮蓬頭，但等水熱的時候排水孔要卻爬出了一隻青蛙..

Jättefint, mindre hotell med fantastisk personal. Mycket fräscha rum med badrum utomhus. Vi köpte till två dagar med guidad tur från en på hotell, och det var fantastiskt. Risfält, vattenfall, mindre byar på landsbygden och en helt annan sida av Ubud än vi skulle sett annars. Rekommenderas starkt!

Love love love loveeee !

Resort was just amazing, felt like we were at home and was very welcomed. The stuff were very helpful and so friendly. Would 100% recommend this location was everything is so close to the resort and is very affordable. Wifi had noooo issues which was a surprise worked everyday. And the bedroom was just so comforting.

We switch hotel to Sungu Resort and Spa and it was all we needed back then! From the uncleaned, cockroaches, bugs etc to the luxury hotel life. Little expencier hotel but worth it if you want little bit luxury for your holiday. Breakfast was served as an ala carte dish so you ate yourself full but no food was wasted. Bed and bathroom was the best thing in our room and also the orange smell. Good location and only 10min walk to Ubud centrum.
