Samas cottages was a great place to stay in Ubud. It was tucked away from the main street but easy walking distance to the main street to all the restaurants. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was great and served on our veranda in the mornings. The villa was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Pool area was nice. Great that we were able to swim in the evenings after a busy day. Would recommend this as a great value place to stay. Would stay here again if in Ubud.

Had a little staycation in Ubud since I sadly got sick after travel, and really enjoyed my stay here! I wasn't able to book a massage for the day we arrived so recommend booking as early as possible. Besides, the location is great so there are tons of spas, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Staff is friendly, breakfast options were good, and bed was very comfortable. A/C in room and nice shower and bath tub. Recommend!

Great property with beautiful rooms! The location is fantastic and within walking distance of lots of excellent shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that the pillows were very hard, so I ended up sleeping on my travel pillow. Hopefully they’ll upgrade to something softer. Otherwise, I had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous private villa just off Bisma Road, very central, only noise was from a bar opposite but not every night and only til 10:45pm. We loved the private plunge pool after a hot sticky day sight-seeing. Lovely upstairs lounge with balcony.

Lovely accommodation and small resort but unfortunately we didn't get to experience what Ubud had to offer as my son was unwell. We chose the accommodation as it was convenient to access the Monkey Sanctuary, palace, market etc but the streets outside are extremely busy. The pharmacy was a few doors away which was helpful. There was also a closely located yoga facility and cooking school.

The staff were lovely, always happy to help and so friendly, nothing was a problem. We also loved the quiet oasis that our villa was away from the noisy traffic of Ubud. It was so central and easy to walk around but it was very private and quiet. Only small issue was the live music next door on Sat night but it was done by 11pm so didn't disrupt our sleep too much.

Very nice place in Ubud

Very nice place in Ubud. Spacious and clean and nice breakfast and fast wifi. Only downside was that we were 4 people and we thought the place would have a separate bedroom.
