I was pleasantly surprised. Rustic decor with modern services. Clean, quiet & personalized service breakfast was delivered to room & airport drop off provided an extra touch. All staff were super friendly & helpful especially Thomas, who assisted in maneuvering a hiccup with a tour company. Will definitely recommend & return. Thanks a lot.

I liked that this property was quiet, safe and clean in a area that was central and close to both Tulum town and the beach areas. We had an issue with the shower upon arrival but it was fixed immediately. Service was great and staff was always there to help and call a taxi for us when we needed one.

The Zereno property and staff were amazing! The room was huge and clean. They were quick to offer services and bring towels upon request. We didn’t have a ton of plans when we booked so the staff was great about making recommendations. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Thanks again to Daniel and Fernando for all their local food and entertainment suggestions - really made the trip amazing!

Birthday Getaway (9+ group)

Came here to celebrate mine and my sisters 30th birthday! Absolutely amazing service and stay. The front desk staff is so helpful and attentive! I suggest downloading the WhatsApp app to make communication easier. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. It was fairly hot & humid in Tulum during our stay, so make sure you have them show you how to turn on the ac. Cannot wait to visit again!

You definitely need a car to stay here & it’s great if you’re working from home. It’s super quiet and I’m what seems like on a private road. I didn’t do enough research therefore didn’t realize the beach is far and so are restaurants. The room was beautiful though. There was a tv with no basic channels, only streaming services (Netflix, Disney, etc). We had to leave after one night.

I called the property to schedule airport transportation that was offered with the reservation. They acknowledged they were not offering the full transportation and that they would be happy to approve a refund for this via expedia. This was confirmed to me via phone twice. Expedia reached out to them on at least 3 different occasions and they never responded. So I was charged for a stay that I could not keep because the were not rendering full services promised. Call before you book.

I selected this property due to the shuttle pickup from the airport. When I made it, they were not there & when I contacted the property via WhatsApp I was told they will not pick me up & to take the bus to Tulum center, then ask for direction to the location.. My phone service was not working properly so this made the situation very nerve wrecking. I do not speak Spanish, so it was tough making it to the destination. Luckily a young lady assisted me to location 4 hours later. The situation made me upset that I ended up returning back to the states the following day. The property was nice & the front desk worker was nice, but the sales team was not pleasant which turned my birthday experience into a not so good one. I was happy to leave.

Staff/Service was GREAT, but the hotel isn’t

The service was amazing, the staff was great, but the overall condition of the hotel was far from the photo’s online. The property is considerably older than the photos show. Our room had an extremely foul stale water odor that remained the entire three night stay despite multiple attempts from the maintenance and management to remove. After night one we discovered that it was due to a clog in the shower. The water in the main bedroom shower drained so slowly that it rose so high that it nearly flooded the bathroom. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms to move to during this time, which is very unfortunate because the staff was great. The pool was so filthy and had so much mildew that my son and I couldn’t even take a swim. The photo’s definitely do NOT depict the pool how it truly is.

Mega god service! Super venlig og hjælpsomt personale! Og smukt hotel. Dog er beliggenheden ikke særlig god i forhold til stranden så enten skal man gå 1,5 time, cykle 30 min eller køre knallert eller bil i 15 min. Og det er ikke fordi hotellet har faciliteter til man bare kan ligge der hele dagen. Poolen er meget lille og solen rammer på intet tidspunkt ned ved poolområdet. Morgenmaden er virkelig kedelig, du får 2 stykker brød, 1 smør og 1 syltetøj, og to små bæger med 3 tsk yoghurt og 3 tsk müsli, og en tallerken med frugt der smagte gammelt og vandet. Vi oplevede dsv også mug på brødet en morgen og hår i maden og et dyr i vores kaffe. Jeg synes godt de bare kunne servere en normal skål med müsli og youghurt for det vi fik holdte os mætte i 30 minutter. Men rengøringen var god og værelset var super fint.
