I feel bad giving the Muyu Tulum a bad review, the hotel is really nice, and the staff is terrific. The hotel itself is clean, well and designed. But the property itself has the bad luck of being situated at what has to be the noisiest corner in Tulum. Trucks, cars and people are scream by all day and night. And when the traffic finally lets up, it’s the local bars and clubs blasting their music until the early morning hours. If you’re a very hard sleeper, you’ll do well. If not, you won’t sleep for six nights like me.

El baño tiene las llaves de regadera y lavamanos oxidadas. No hay elevador y para una persona con problemas de mobilidad, el que el desayunador este en el 3 piso es un problema. La recepcion pasa vacia la mayoria del tiempo. Los colchones de las camas, son demasiado blandos.

unobjectionable hotel but also not special

Quite an ordinary hotel with small rooms, little character, and few amenities, although the staff was helpful enough. The location one block from the main boulevard was surprisingly noisy and there was construction going on -- this is not the best area of Tulum to be staying.

Quite new, modern place in the heart of Tulum proper. Our room was on the “smallish” side, yet still comfortable. The front desk personnel were very helpful, A++.

Very clean rooms, new hotel, friendly, helpful staff, good location. Enjoyed our stay very much. Could use a little less bleach during cleaning of the bathrooms, but you know it's clean!

Great Hotel! Highly recommend

The hotel was very clean, incredible staff and overall an excellent experience. Only downside was there was only a very thin sheet on our beds, so with the A/C on, it got chilly. A duvet would be amazing, but aside from that, outstanding!

Me gusto el hotel es cómodo cuenta con estacionamiento afuera del hotel pero es seguro el personal es amable. Volvería a hospedarme. El desayuno es continental no es mucho pero está bien para resolver.

Dos 5 Hotéis, sendo um deles um Resort na Zona Hoteleira, que ficamos durante nossa estadia no México, esse foi o que mais me agradou. O pessoal tanto da recepção quanto do restaurante são super atenciosos, comprometidos com a satisfação do cliente. Nas informações sobre custo x benefício, nos orientaram de forma que pudéssemos não ter gastos desnecessários. O café da manhã é simples, porém agradável. Bem localizado, fizemos muitas coisas a pé. Super recomendo!

Not bad... not great.

Air didn’t work in first room first night. Changed to another. Wifi crapped out second night. That was fixed. Got water takes a massive waste of water to get hot. No mini fridge. Nothing communicated about breakfast or after hours entry. Nice furnishings and looks good on the surface. Beds are the typical Mexican concrete beds (they feel like concrete). It was alright but not looking to go back wifi was horrible and lost $$ working due to poor wifi quality.

Diego at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Check in and concierge all in one! He helped us coordinate a scooter rental, ordered and found us the least expensive taxi to the airport, kept our luggage safe while we waited for our room to be ready, even put our leftover food in the fridge for us. He was amazing!! Gracias Diego!!!!

The staff is phenomenal, friendly, helpful and willing to answer any and all questions about the area, how to get around and such. Located one block off the main road, it was walking distance to many convince stores, restaurants and the supermarket for your pick-up.
