Fantastic staff who are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was just a bit further from town than a I would have liked which meant we needed a taxi to go out. The rooms were too small for my taste. Pool looked great but it rained a lot of the time so we didn’t manage to use it.

Container Hotel
My wife and I frequent Tulum, every year..and have always rented the same place..and we decided to switch it up a bit this year..and try Giana..we always have to beds..as we enjoy a sound and seperate sleep...the hotels was on the southern out skirts of city...so if your walking..this could be a problem...checkin was fine...the room felt
odd"...sort of being in a cabin on a ship....I finally realized this was a " container hotel"..so it was cool..to see such an assembly of 2 floors, and 20 plus units...but lacking outlets...and false ceilings and walls...took a bit to get use to....the pools is awesome for a person who likes to do laps like me...they have a small guest hut...where you have access to a fridge and coffee machine..microwave too....

HOTEL EN EL CENTRO DE TULUM
HOTEL CENTRICO EN TULUM, MUY BÁSICO PERO IDEAL PARA UNAS CUANTAS NOCHES EN TULUM, BIEN UBICADO Y LAS HABITACIONES CÓMODAS.
This hotel was a total rip-off. The rooms were tiny, the breakfast was one of the worst I had every seen, and the staff were extremely misinformed about local attractions. The fat fellow who worked the front dest one morning sent us on a 5 km wild goose chase down the wrong end of a busy highway rather than calling for a taxi that would have immediately led us to the Sian Kah Biosphere Reserve. Also for the price we paid for the room, we should have had a five star hotel right next to the beach, instead we got a modular room made of a shipping container with a bed that was not large enough for 2 people. The breakfast consisted of an apple, an orange, and a bun of sweet bread (all self service, they didn't even bother to slice the fruit). The hotel was also in a remote spot on the edge of a busy highway (not the most attractive, interesting, or quiet spot for a beach vacation). Would accept all of these downsides if the price had been about 10% of what I was charged. Overall, this was terrible value for the totally unjustified, extortionate, price charged.
This hotel is only a 15 minute walk out of town set back just off the main highway so its in a quieter location than in town. The rooms are clean & all have outside seating on the veranda some overlooking the pool. Staff are very friendly & helpful.
The pool is large & gets the sun most of the day. You can also rent bikes too.
Breakfast is included also.
Would stay here again if I returned to Tulum.
Quiet and safe area. The room is small but still can fit two large luggages. Bathroom has some sewage smell initially but it will be okay after you tweak the fan. Saw mosquitoes in the room and i had plenty of mosquito bites after a night. Wifi wont work if you have the metal curtain down which is pretty inconvenient as anyone can look into our room. This will be good if youre looking for a budget stay in Tulum.
