Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

10/10 Excellent

"If youre looking for off the beaten path, low key, totally chill atmosphere to relax in the pool this is it. We stayed two nights and hung out with some close friends. We were literally the only ones in the Rincon pool most of the 2 days. Rooms are very nice love the open shower. Will definitely be returning in the future."

"My husband and I had a 3 night stay. Check-in was not very informative. We were not told the hotel offered free breakfast or complementary coffee in the lobby. We were told the next day by a different receptionist. The pool was nice the first 2 days. By Sunday it was dirty and you could not see the bottom. The guy checked the water twice but did nothing to clean it. These were the downsides of the hotel. The rooms were clean and we felt safe overall. The bartenders were very nice and the DJ was great. Breakfast was great once we"

"Overall we had a pleasant 2 night stay here, but it is definitely dated. The room was spacious and comfortable, but does feel like going back in time. That may be part of the charm of the place I guess, we had no complaints as such, and it isn't run down, just feels like it's from a bygone era. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but had bar snacks and drinks in the bar. Very attentive barman, and mixed a great margarita for my wife! We didn't use the pool either, as we were in town for family events. It was priced well, and the dated feel wouldn't put us off staying there again."

"We had a 4 night stay in June, so being Tucson the hotel was quiet. Overall we had a very nice stay, parking was right outside our room, staff were very helpful and cheery. We chose a king room, which was huge, lovely bathroom with 2 sinks and vanity areas, ideal for couples getting ready at the same time. Our only negative with the room was the carpet appeared quite dirty and looked like it could use a good steam clean. The rest of the room was clean and well maintained. Pool areas were nice, the water always looked clean and clear. Main restaurant was closed due to the season, but the bar restaurant was very pleasant and we enjoyed a few drinks and a meal there. Overall would recommend a stay here."

Sheraton Tucson Hotel and Suites

"Pros: Staff - Very friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable about the property and provided all the necessary information upon check in. Room - I stayed in the executive suite which was huge and nicely decorated. Very large deep soaking tub with added jets that I feel are more hygienic than some of the older model tubs at other hotels. Lobby/Restaurant/Breakfast - The lobby is huge and very elegant. I can’t comment on the restaurant or breakfast as I didn’t take advantage of either. Pool - My daughter loved the pool and it wasn’t too crowded on a weekend morning. She stated that she loved the smooth sides instead of the stucco that is typically used. Security/Safety - Love the layout because the alternate entrances are gated doors requiring a room key to gain access. Made me feel more at ease and i could really relax. Cons: Room - Staying in the larger suite I felt that the air conditioner was not sufficient enough to my liking. I enjoy a very cold room especially at night. I felt it was good enough to keep it comfortable but not as cold as I’d like. Also, the bathroom floor appeared to be clean until I went to wipe up some water that was on the floor. The washcloth was a light brown from wiping the floor and this was shortly after we checked in. Lastly, I feel the TVs are outdated. I think with all the streaming services people use nowadays it would be beneficial to upgrade the tvs for streaming. Overall, I highly recommend this property! I’ll definitely be visiting again."
