"We were staying in annex Japanese Western room with river view, room is very spacious and comfortable. We were enjoying the buffet meals (breakfast and dinner) with lots of varieties of foods and drinks (included alcohol at dinner time only), also enjoying lounge with free drinks after dinner. "The staff are very friendly. The building and rooms are fairly new. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in Japan so far they have the most space in rooms. Also, grab the breakfast buffet worth the money. I wish I’ve stayed longer here. I will definitely stay again. "

"From the very start the staff was very nice, even though we weren't the best tourists. We stayed a short time, and in that tike the staff was friendly, despite our Faux Pas and were willing to help us with arranging luggage forwarding. The room we booked was very clean and offered coffee, tea, and ice water in our rooms which we were free to use. The mats we slept on we comfortable and had plush blankets that almost kept us TOO warm during the cool Spring nights. The Onsens though were the star of the show. We had two private Onsen attached to our room, one that was inside and one that was Open-Air. Both were incredible to be in and legitimately helped myself and my travel companion with aches and pains during the trip. I can't recommend this place enough. Must go Onsen if you find yourself in Hita."

"The property was amazing. Check-in was very smooth and excellent explanations. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The hot spring was also really nice. They change the men's/women's periodically, so make sure to experience both! I especially appreciated the fine touches that gave me a small smile - the same artist who made the flower vases also made the coffee cups in the lounge :) And the coffee was excellent."
