"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Forza Kanazawa!
The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and bedding cozy. There was a wall bench that allowed us to enjoy our snacks when in the room. The bathroom had a separate room for the toilet, which is so convenient for all of us to get ready at the same time and get out the door. The shower was amazing with a shower head, rain shower head, and additional sprays for a spa like experience. Leg/Foot massager was a bonus after a long day of walking.
Amenities include the usual toiletries supplies, but also coffee station, and one welcome alcoholic drinks for each adult.
Staff were friendly and so helpful, making checking in and out and storing luggage easy and seamless.
Location was also great. About 10 minutes from Kanazawa station, and 5-20 minutes from other attractions like Omicho market, Kanazawa castle, Higashi Chaya district, ect."
"This is a great location for exploring Toyama and the alpine route. The hotel is right across from the station.
The breakfast was amazing. My son is allergic to all nuts but almonds and he could eat there. Of course ask the staff first because the menu can change.
They stored our luggage before check in.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Lastly the staff is absolutely amazing. Especially Okino. I accidentally left a medication I needed in the refrigerator. She made sure I recieved it even calling the next hotel I was at and working with them, which was not easy. And arranged all the delivery details. Then sent me the kindest note with the medication wishing me to take care of myself. I have never had a more accommodating staff."
"We really enjoyed our stay. They even provide jinbei/ pajamas with basket that we can use in the public bath. It was really an amazing experience and good for photos. i also enjoyed their traditional breakfast. Love this place."
"Breakfast meals were top notch with local specialties to try. The meals were the same daily. The rooms were decent and clean but basic wear and tear showing in some areas.
The onsen was clean HOWEVER the photos with the nice onsen with multiple pools and sweeping views is ONLY the men’s side. The women’s side is accessible via a code that changes daily (get the code from the front desk daily). There is only one pool, no view, 6 wash stations or so and a shower. Generally not busy or full ever. But disappointing the women’s side didn’t have a similar experience with multiple pools or views."
"The pros:
A short walk 5 min from Toyama station at the quieter side.
The cons:
Not enough parking available if you drive. Have to park nearby parking lot and it is not guaranteed as well.
Also no convenience stall within 3 mins walk. Nearest is Toyama station"
