We really enjoyed our stay at Elisabeth by the Sea! The hotel is beautiful, the views are incredible, and the location in Tossa de Mar is hard to beat. We especially loved relaxing on the rooftop and taking in the views of the sea. The staff were welcoming and the entire stay felt relaxing and special. We would definitely stay here again!

Best hotel in Tossa. Great location near some really good restaurants. The rooms and hotel are very clean. We had breakfast one day at the hotel which was 25 euro. It was good. The rooftop pool is nice and the bar makes good drinks with an amazing view.

Fantastic location in a storybook coastal town. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful interior garden lounge area and a roof top wading pool with panoramic views. A bit confusing to locate if you arrive by car but staff was most helpful. GO!

The view was amazing. The reception, bar, wait staff and doorman were all great. There may have been things that were not perfect, but the location and views more than made up for it. The breakfast was simple, but very good every morning. I stayed only 3 nights, but I want to make this place an annual routine now.

Rooms are incredibly small and lacking storage space. Bathroom is tiny/non-existant. Route from room to rooftop pool incredibly inconvenient. Rooftop pool is literally 2m wide, photos on website are misleading. It is also much further away from the beach than appearing in photos on the website. Staff are generally unhelpful. Parking, which is very expensive, is 10 minutes walk, crowded and with small inconvenient spaces due to larger vehicles parking over the lines. Staff in the spa were very nice but mostly not available frequently. Breakfast was fresh and with good quality but rather limited options compared with other hotels. There was also a massive problem with aggressive pigeons in the breakfast courtyard each morning, frequently causing problems to guests and especially children. I have no idea how this hotel could be classed as 5 star, that is completely false in our opinion. It should be 3+ at the very most.

Luxurious, peaceful, beach escape.

Stunning hotel, great ambiance, beautifully styled right across the road from the beach. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay. The hotel has a great rooftop pool, live music in the evenings, restaurant patio and ample lounging areas.

Absolutely loved this hotel and the staff was amazingly accommodating! They were very helpful in answering all of our questions via messaging through the Expedia app prior to our stay. During our stay they were so welcoming. They also helped to arrange transportation to the Barcelona airport upon our departure & even packed us a picnic breakfast since we had to leave before breakfast service began. The views from our room and from the hotel pool were absolutely beautiful. The loungers by the pool are super comfortable. And everything is nearby. There are a ton of places to eat within steps of the property. The castle is also an easy walk. Hands down if we ever make it to Tossa de Mar again, I will absolutely stay here again. It was perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!!

Newly renovated. Excellent place, excellent breakfast. Rooftop bar and pool very nice. Rooms fresh, clean. Overall great stay!

The location is excellent, the access to the beach and town is great. The rooftop pool and lounge is so beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. I am going to take my retirement fund and check into Elisabeth by the Sea Hotel 5 and forget the retirement community.

The location is perfect — close to everything! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The entire place is spotless, and the interior design is modern and stylish. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful stay the hotel is so comfortable and the breakfast was alway fresh and hot . The only thing that was disappointing was the pool you couldn’t swim in it as to shallow but was great to cool down in I would definitely recommend the hotel and Tossa de mar is a wonderful destination.

Amazing hotel right on the beachfront. Great pool, albeit it would have been great if it was heated. The room was amazing. So modern and great set up.

This hotel was simply heavenly. The room was spacious, clean, and bright. Very comfortable for a family of four. The breakfast buffet fresh and delicious. The rooftop pool overlooking the beach and castle felt magical. Location is the best- steps from the beach and minutes from the town for dining and shopping.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views of the shoreline! Stayed in seaview room with balcony. Lovely. Some English translation challenges but we didn’t speak Spanish either. So we got through it the best we could. Highly recommend.

Exceptional service

This hotel is beautiful! The staff really made our stay wonderful though. Pepe on the rooftop bar was lovely, our waiter Christian was superb and the chef (named Ema or Emmet perhaps?) was so kind to prepare something especially for my partner who has unfortunate allergies when the dish he wanted was sold out. All around it was beyond a 5* service. Also, we had massages with Elizabeth who worked wonders on my tense shoulders. I would 100% recommend a stay here.

Reception/ front of house staff excellent Room great with sea view No room service- No tea or coffee / milk in room ( kettle only ) Housekeeping very hit and miss - glasses not washed up etc Spa is lovely Rooftop bar not always open ( mid September) Breakfast lovely
