Good. You can hear a kid running above or a chair being dragged on the floor above Room 112, where I'm staying for 8 nights. Room is very clean. The cleaners did a wonderful job. Cable TV reception is "grainy". The original remote control didn't work very well, so the guy at the front desk replace it with a better one. Checking in was very smooth, very friendly. My only problem was the noise above my room, every night, either a kid was running or a chair being dragged.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, which was a definite plus after being on the road all morning. The neighborhood seems to be going through some ch-ch-changes (for the better!). First appearances are deceiving, and I found the area to be safe and friendly. The hotel is "hidden away" from the main thoroughfare (Queen Street), but it was close enough that I was able to simply park my car and walk or use the street cars everywhere I went. The room itself was set up for extended stays and was comfortable and modern. I was only here briefly but would definitely consider it again for a longer stay.
The hotel was run down, paint chipping from the walls very dirty walls. You could hear everything from the other rooms and hallways - Poor sound insulation. Area is sketchy. Still overpriced for what you get. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate but have very little to work with.
It was a pleasant stay. The room was recently renovated and very nicely done. We were two friends travelling together so the 2 single beds were perfect. There was a lot of noise at night - but we were tired, so it wasn't too bad. The one real issue was the dryness and heat in the room.
We had stayed here before and it was great, this time not so good, the first night the spout fell off my bath tub when i went to have a shower, it was fixed the next day, but every night i had to have my key card re-coded to get into my room, and the last two night we were there was very noisy around midnight and continued into 3 the next morning

The location is ok. close enough to the bars and restaurants that we visited so we could walk home. we were on the first floor but could hear everything that was going on upstairs and outside. really terrible for trying to get some shut eye! for that much money paid, i would expect at least to get some decent pillows and more than 4 hrs of uninterrupted sleep! but i guess if i wanted to get that, id have to pay more for a fancier hotel downtown (which i didn’t want to do in the first place.)

Budget hotel in the downtown
Plusses:
- Central location
- Long check-in time
- Friendly service
- Parking possibility (with extra fee)
- Laundry on the floor
Minuses
- Rather worn-out
- Cockroach in the room
The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk north of Queen St. It isn't near any other hotels, it's located in a bit of a sketchy area near some run down row housing. The room was big enough for a single night stay but nothing special. It's marketed as an extended stay room and includes a microwave, full sized fridge and kitchenette but lacks a table to eat at. There was peeled paint in numerous places and the steel pieces in the tub were rusting. The room also lacked enough sound proofing as we could hear lots of conversations and noise during the night. On the plus side it is close to Queen St and it's a short walk to the entertainment area.
Great friendly staff, wonderful location!! only complaint is crawling into bed due to the wall on one side, but then again, NYC is always an adventure so it didn't bother us!

Je donne un 3 *.
stationnement facile, lobby, ascenseur et corridor non invitant, par contre l’accueil du personnel et chambre qui viennent d’être rénové sont très propre. L'air climatisé est très bruyante, ce qui nuis a un bon sommeille.

It was in the right area and cheap
Dead bolt on door would not work and bathroom door would not close.
The Hotel is in a great location, short walk to downtown and great local bars and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away. Staff on the front desk are friendly too.

Absolute garbage experience.
Originally booked with Studio 6, but was forced to stay at Super 8 up the road due to overbooking. The hotel is located inside of a shopping Mall, which wasn’t particularly easy to park and get into. My largest upset comes from the racket caused by the room doors. They’re heavy, and they stick, so guests have to slam them shut to enter or leave. At 2:55am my room phone went off, startling us out of bed, with noone on the line. The room next door’s phone went off minutes later too; clearly a prank. To add salt to the distress, one of the guests on my floor proceeded to slam their door every 15-20 minutes up until an argument settled the noise between the roudy guests at 5am. I went down to the desk at 4:30am to ask the concierge to do something about it, which he didn’t, and my compensation was $12 for parking. I slept fo 2 hours in a hotel I never booked to begin with. Hands down my worst hotel experience.
Also, there is no access to drinkable water, with the exception of a fountain with paper cups at the lobby.
