A real value for a clean stay!

This is an older place to stay that the owners and managers are obviously putting care and attention into. Sheets were clean, carpet was clean. Rooms are dated but again clean and painted. If you need a decent bed and shower check this place out. No frills-low cost- and clean.

Clean good size room. Bathroom needed new toilet seat and some white paint. The view from the street doesn't look like it is open at all. Quiet area just outside of the busy edge of town.

The room was large. The bathroom was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. The bed was comfortable. The staff was certainly pleasant. The motel has good access to Topeka Blvd. and Kansas Ave. That said there was a lingering odor that is difficult to describe.

Budget friendly for a short visit.

Receptionist was friendly. The facility was in decent shape and the pricing was affordable. Room did not have a light switch by the door, so if I planned on being gone till late, I had to leave a lamp on so I could see when entering the room. Light over sink was fluorescent and the ignitor was going out. Electrical and lighting upgrades definitely needed. Overall, the accommodations met my needs for my purpose in Topeka.

We had business in Lawrence KS. There were no motels available. The gentleman at Motel 6 in North Lawrence offered to check surrounding areas. That was Topeka. We appreciated that.

Hidden Gem on pothole drive (Topeka Blvd)

The mirrors on the wall added an extra ambiance to the weekend. We had gone to Topeka for an event at the Expocentre. The large refrigerator and microwave were nice. We will definitely stay here again when heading to the Russia Chili House off Porubsky Road!!
