Very Good

Building is old, not the greatest looking room but did its job. Things to do around the area are plentiful, local food businesses are amazing, staff was extremely helpful. Recommend this place for the price and location if you dont mind your stay.
Very small rooms but that’s typical for Japan. Our mattress was ready for replacement.
Staff were fantastic and even helped us book tickets for the baseball game.
The staff was very kind and the hotel had an adorable tradition of gathering recipes from their guests. The location is close enough to all of Tokyo without being too close! The rooms are small by western standards, but if your getting a hotel in Tokyo hopefully you already knew that.
Great place if you don’t need to be right in the heart of Shibuya. It is in a lovely area and it is close enough for us.
The room was great because we got four futons so my kids and I could all fit. Each with our own bed. It was nothing fancy and doesn’t have all the amenities that most Japanese hotels have but the staff were amazing and very helpful. And like I said, it was a really lovely neighborhood. If I was going to live near Shibuya, this would probably be where I would stay. It was a bit under the way for all of the action, but it was quiet so that was good. I would definitely stay there again.
For $373AUD a night it was the most expensive hotel. We expected a much better quality room. Breakfast was toast. The noise from the street in our building was terrible. We could not sleep before midnight. Not recommended.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Sakura Hotel is conveniently located near the train station and surrounded by small restaurants, which makes getting around and finding meals easy. Family Mart is just in the corner. The hotel has small rooms but includes amenities like a laundry area and café. However, it felt quite expensive compared to the previous hotel we stayed at, which included a buffet breakfast for less. The hotel building itself isn’t very appealing, and it takes two train rides to reach Shibuya. Overall, good for location, but not the best value or aesthetics
I've always come back here every year. If you just need a good place to stay with easy access to train station, food and park. Single rooms might be too small if you're over 250 lbs.
