Room was clean and comfortable. Room was small by western standards, but no complaints. Check in was quick and easy. Small lobby with small cafe, serving American and Vietnamese breakfast and flavored coffee drinks. Very close to Ueno station and amazing interesting alleyways for eating and shopping. Very strange collection of restaurants and bars UNDER the train tracks. Great variety of food and drinks.

Gave us a corner room with window which is good, room is tiny but decent size for 2 pax, only surprised that they don’t do house keeping automatically and only upon request and that’s also very minimal cleaning which basically only changed the towel

A bit dirty but overall nice and affordable

Great location and affordable for a hotel. I was prepared for the small room i got due to reading reviews and i could go to the reception to heat up food. The personell was also kind, although they did not know english. My biggest issue was the hygiene in my room, specifically in the shower room where i saw that the staff have been sloppy around the corners. Some corners had turned dark even, looking like early stages of mold. But then again, i felt i got what i paid for, and i would seriously reconsider revisiting since the quality otherwise was really good, and the location was great. Just a short walk from ueno station where you could basically get anywhere you wanted.

I really loved the staying at the Emit Ueno hotel, It's very convenient as 2 stations are very near it. At the first floor they also have a bar so you can have coffee :) Great!
