Beautiful hotel. Impeccable rooms. Our corner room was spacious, extremely spacious for Japanese hotels. The shower had amazing pressure and the toiletries were above the standard hotel items. The beds are very firm.

I stayed at Hotel 1899 Tokyo from January 23 to January 27, and the experience was excellent. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding and clearly a top priority. As is common in Japan, the room size is compact, but the layout is very well designed, making great use of the space and feeling functional and comfortable throughout the stay. The lobby is beautifully designed with a minimalist aesthetic. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with soft background music that enhances the overall experience. A very nice touch is the complimentary tea service, offering matcha, sencha, and roasted tea, which adds to the sense of tranquility. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a stylish, quiet, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Tokyo.

This is a great hotel, especially if you want to find calm while in a city of 37 million people. Though you won’t be right in the middle of the action, the joy of this city is that transit is exceptional and so anything you want to see is only a short walk / subway away. To me, the benefit of being able to get back to a quiet retreat after a busy day is priceless.
