By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Shinjuku; the staff here was very friendly and welcoming. Across from the hotel is a laundromat, which is very convenient, with vending machines outside. In addition, the area is very peaceful, with some local shops and restaurants very close by, including the train station. I highly recommend staying here if you ever want to walk around the city, which is about 12 minutes from the hotel. Overall, I am very satisfied here and I hope to return here when I visit Japan again.

This property had a lot of dining options but it was a one room arrangement. No kitchen sink or cooking facilities. I had booked for what I thought were beds but 2 of them were mattress on the floor. It was neat and today and had restaurants nearby

Very convenient hotel. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and cafes. Nice room with great amenities. Staff were ok ( not too friendly but not rude). Hotel room was in a separate building than the hotel, which was extremely confusing and wasn’t luggage friendly lol
