"We had an overnight stay here prior to a morning flight from Gatwick.
We dropped off our hire car at the Gatwick South Terminal, followed good signage to the inter-terminal shuttle to get to the North Terminal (shuttles leave every 3 min 24/7), all very easy.
Used the information on the hotel website to find the covered access way to the hotel, missed it at first but by turning back towards the shuttle platform saw it - tip, when you get out of the shuttle, the access way is obstructed from view. As you walk towards the terminal entrance it is to the far left and back further. There is signage but we missed it at first amongst other separate signage for other hotels.
A short walk brought us to reception where we got a friendly, informative and efficient welcome. We were quickly in our (Superior) room settling in. The room is not large but reasonable by London standards, well laid out and comfortable.
We decided to have a drink and dinner at the hotel bar (there are also 2 restaurants on site). Service was a little slow but friendly (with repeated attempts made to up sell drinks to us - all done in a jovial manner but definitely there, hubby misunderstood the 1st attempt and almost got a cocktail instead of a beer until I checked that's what he wanted as he never gets a cocktail). On learning we were going to eat there we got complimentary nibbles. The meals were good without being outstanding.
Overall we were very happy with our choice."
