A fantastic stay

Awesome place with great hospitality, he showed us around entire property along with all the game animals running around. We will definitely be going back in future!

Great hunting location

We initially chose to stay here because of proximity to walk in hunting. We also did two days of hunting on the owner's property. Views are lovely, hunting for pheasants challenging but there were lots of birds in this area of South Dakota. Pet friendly- thank you!

Good hunting shack

Great location for hunters that don’t care about amenities. Major maintenance issues and could use some cleaning. This place is not child friendly for children under 10.

Great hunting lodge

Gene’s lodge and property were perfect for 4 guys looking to hunt birds all day and relax after cooking a meal. Bird hunting was extremely slow in the area so we decided to give Gene”s land a shot and boy did it produce! Gene was nice enough to hunt with us since 4 guys just isn’t enough to cover his large fields which were mostly packed with birds. Gene is dedicated to providing perfect habitat for pheasant and being a great host. Thank you Gene for your hospitality and for making our trip a memorable success. Looking forward to seeing you next year…with more guys and better dogs! Lol!
