This is a cute little hotel a little bit out of the way in Tilcara. It takes maybe 15 minutes to walk to the town center. However the out of the way location makes this property very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. The high ceilings give it the feel of a much larger room. The bathroom is not luxurious but adequate. The common areas are just to die for: the cabins are built around an interior courtyard with grass and vegetation and invite guests to linger there. There is a cute little terrace to sit and have a glass of wine. When we were there, the hotel didn’t serve dinner but they gave us glasses, utensils etc. to have a picnic on the terrace. We didn’t use the inside common areas but they were large and comfortable. The staff only speaks Spanish so bring a phrase book if you don’t know the language. The only negative was the internet which went in and out and didn’t really allow for anything more than texting. This is a problem if you don’t have an Argentinian cell phone plan. I rate this hotel excellent for friendliness, relaxation and atmosphere.

Charming hotel by the mountain

Charming hotel with nice local food. Good service. We arrive to the hotel on a rainy day and it was raining in our room, but we were offered another one. The place was very humid and there was no heating, so the staff turned it on, but by midnight it was off again. There's dust everywhere, I know they try to keep it clean, but the furniture in the rooms is not inviting. The hotel has a lot of potential.

Hôtel bien situé, agréable, bien aménagé. C'est surtout au niveau du service qu'il y aurait des améliorations à apporter. Par exemple, au petit déjeuner, plusieurs aliments n'étaient pas apportés malgré la présence des clients.

Äußerst zurückhaltend zur Straßenseite, entpuppt sich die Posada im Innenbereichen großzügige und stilechte Räume mit viel Charme vom Norden. Das Highlight ist der hinterer Garten, um dem sich die Zimmer als einzelne Cabañas anreihen. Diese Oase ist es immer grün und frisch und es fühlt sich fantastisch mit dem Blick auf den überragenden Bergen auf der Terrasse zu verweilen. Service, Personal, Sauberkeit und Räumlichkeiten erfüllten all unsere Erwartungen bestens. Es war immer 24 Stunden jemand für uns da. Eine Verlängerung unseres Aufenthalts um 2 Nächte mit den selben Konditionen wie bei Expedia gebucht, verlief problemlos. Wir würden immer wieder herkommen.

Traditional style with modern conforts

Very confortable and warming place, with great views from the backyard...good living area, around a warming and stylish fireplace. The rooms are in chalet style, with typical construction, but with all the modern conforts.

Hermosa posada en un bellísimo pueblo

La posada está ubicada cerca del centro con una hermosa vista a los cerros. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y están muy bien decoradas. Tiene un hermoso jardín que da a todas las habitaciones. El lugar es muy tranquilo. el desayuno es bueno, así como la limpieza de las habitaciones y del lugar en general. Lo único complicado es que no se puede conectar al wi-fi en las habitaciones. En la recepción hay mejor señal, pero igual no es muy buena la conexión.

Buena experiencia, pero podría mejorar.

La posada es agradable, las habitaciones cómodas, tiene estacionamiento propio, el lobby espacioso y el personal bien dispuesto. Tendrían que mejorar el wifi en las habitaciones (en el lobby y la recepción sin problemas) y reparar el grupo electrógeno, ya que por desgracia durante nuestra estadía se cortó la luz por todo un día y el grupo electrógeno no funcionaba. Buen desayuno, hermoso parque y bonita vista, y la ubicación -si bien no es la mejor- tampoco es mala.

Cosy in Tilcara

Area is a little intimidating at first (dark roads and dogs barking and running around freely) but hotel was lovely and felt safe. WiFi didn't work in rooms, but was decent in the communal areas. No English spoken here, so brush up on your espanol!

Muy lindo y tranquilo

Excelente habitación, amplia, limpia, luminosa, muy buena estética y atención. La perla negra: la tarifa es en dólares. Hice la reserva el 15 de diciembre de 2015 pero cuando fui a pagar al retirarme el 3 de enero de 2016, el dolar había pegado un salto del 40%. No me tuvieron piedad. Ojo con eso.
