We really enjoyed our stay here on the river. The place fit our family of 5 perfectly and we had a great time fishing right outside our door and using the place as a springboard to visit Sequoia National Park. Our host Steve was attentive to any messages and very welcoming. I would highly recommend it to others.
If you want an amazing date getaway this is the place! Secluded, clean, beautiful, everything you need in a home. This place is so peaceful and serene.
This is our third time staying at this beautiful property. It has everything you need for a weekend of family fun and relaxation. The river was refreshing and the house very comfortable. We can't wait to come back again in the future.
The house and property are a gem. If you are looking for a place away from it all with just the sound of rushing water this is the place. Sitting on the back porch to start and finish our day was special. House is well equipped and owner was great.
We really love the location of the house, right next to the river. The sound of water was very soothing. The view was beautiful . The house was clean and comfortable. We have what we need during our stay. We just unlucky did not catch any fish! We would love to come back during summer month so we can swim in the river! The communication is the best too!
My family and I had a wonderful time swimming and enjoying the quiet surroundings here. Check in and out was easy and with three kids under 9 years old, it was a great place to hang out.
Really close to the National Park and nice restaurants (Gateway esp). Very comfortable beds and sofas. Being able to cool off in the stream was a real bonus! Highly recommend.
Cozy and spacious home with fun adventures on the property close to Sequoia National Park. Rope swing, and your own river to swim and fish in! So much fun, kids loved it!
This place is absolutely beautiful. My family enjoyed our stay, from relaxing inside the house to swimming and or fishing in the river which is literally a few steps away. Absolutely amazing place. Will be making it a yearly trip. Thank you Steve!
The best vacation home we lived in! It is equipped with all necessities and surrounded by beautiful nature. We all enjoyed a lot. The host is very responsive and assured we had easy access to the property. We will definitely plan to go back.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent 2 days in Sequoia National Park and the evenings at the house. The third day we decided to just enjoy time at the house. What an oasis! The water and the birds and the quiet and the greenery, it was just what we both needed. We felt refreshed and renewed. Thank you for sharing your home, Steve.
Our time in Three Rivers was great. We visited Sequoia 3 times and Yosemite once. We ate local as often as possible and enjoyed the view from the back porch. Great Memories made.
We had an amazing time at this property near Three Rivers. The private river access is next-level—peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for hanging out, swimming, or just relaxing with a view. The whole property is huge, with tons of space to explore and spread out. It felt like our own private nature retreat.Steve, the host, was awesome. Super easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and genuinely welcoming. The house was clean, comfortable, and a great home base for day trips into Sequoia and Kings Canyon. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic spot with real river access and a great host, this place is it. We’d love to come back.
It was a pleasure staying at this beautiful place. We don’t have any complaints at all. No need to go out at all. It was peaceful,we enjoyed every second here. The Sound of the birds, the river, turkeys, bunnies, quails. Such a beautiful views to say the truth I didn’t wanted to leave. Thank you Steve for sharing this beautiful place with my family and I!
Cool mid -century ranch house (so don't expect modern hip vibes) with amazing connection to the river and nature around it. Loved the quick access to town and SNP plus BLM land to explore.
The sound of the river was very relaxing. Total privacy. Close to sequoia. Comfortable beds. Good communication with the owner. We really enjoyed our stay!
We chose this property for its proximity to Sequoia National Park, and the riverfront setting, and it delivered on both features. It is secluded, but convenient to stores and restaurants. It was comfortable and well-equipped, and the hosts were extremely accessible for questions and an unforeseeable minor issue that came up during our stay.
A Perfect Riverside Escape – We’ll Be Back Every Summer!
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! The house itself is stunning, with a peaceful, stylish interior and an unbeatable view overlooking the river below. But the real star is the river—it’s absolutely breathtaking. We spent every chance we got swimming, lounging, and just soaking in the serenity of the water and surrounding nature. The location is also perfect. The town of Three Rivers is just a quick 10-minute drive away, making it easy to run out for groceries or grab a bite when we didn’t feel like cooking. We’re already planning to come back next summer—and likely every summer after that. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for beauty, comfort, and a magical connection to nature.
This was a great spot in every way. We fished, we swam, and we had Sequoia & Kings Canyon at our doorstep.
Owner extremely friendly and available.
My only regret is that your rating scale does not go higher than higher than five stars.
Overall experience was very calming by the way you are in touch with nature just in their backyard you are able to hear the calming sounds of the birds chirping and the river flowing. The house was very clean and had all the essentials you'll need for your stay, very beautiful property enjoyed my stay there
Beautiful home with an amazing porch next to a peaceful river. Close to Sequoia National Park. Rather remote - which adds to the peace. Didn't want to leave. The host communicated well. This was the best vrbo home i have stayed in.
