Imagine; the tree was a mere seedling when King Solomn built his temple in Jerusalem, a sapling when Christ was born. The General generates enough wood each year to produce a 60-foot tall tree of average size. Dozens of giant sequoia are neighbors to the General; the half-mile downhill trail into the Giant Forest offers access to the General and all the beautiful and hardy creatures. Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This place is amazing and breath taking! We loved the beautiful scenery and being so close to nature. I loved how it was dog friendly for our good boy. We went during a good time where it wasn’t crowded so it was very romantic. I’m sure during summer it’s lively and fun though. You also can’t beat being so close to Sequoia National Park. We will definitely be coming back. Don’t hesitate to book this place!
