As we were travelling with a baby, we wanted a room with a kitchen hence we booked Indeevaram. However, kitchen lacks proper utensils. The entire place was infested with ants. We were shocked to find ants inside the baby food items and could trace those back in one of the walls. One thing that we learnt from our trip to Kerala is to never trust the reviews.

There are hidden charges for the amenities that they offer free in their advertisement. I booked the room for my friends and the hotel charged extra for A/C(its free when you look at the ad) from my friends. They ddn have that courtesy to inform me even. And yeahhh the fun part is 2 hours befor checkout they wil grab your TV remote and A/C remote to save their electricity..lol

Home for an family vacation but no proper access

Recently stayed with my family and parents. Felt home staying good, but needs lot of improvements. Pros: Rooms are spacious and good for family with kids. The caretaker helped us in getting food delivered. Thanks for airport pickup and drop. Cons: 1. Kitchen arent self sufficient for cooking. We thought of cooking but found no utensils except basic. 2. Water Purifier isn't working 3. Mosquito are quite in number. Due to rainy season we have to bear. 4. Bathroom and daily room cleaning arent consistent. We specifically asked to clean daily. 5. Towels and linen were not provided. We have to ask for everything at every time. 6. Accessibility to main road and google location for uber/ola pickup is a major challenge. Overall: The idea is great but need to have experienced keepers who can handle and provide everything for guests well ahead.
