The whole place was spotless The host was extremely obliging. The shared kitchen had all the necessary bits and pieces. A microwave would have been very handy. It was difficult to get to on foot,I would recommend a small transport, maybe auto rickshaw. The stay is serene and well away from the hustle and bustle. The beach is walking distance through a winding path. If you want peace and quiet ,then I would definitely recommend this place

Attractive, old-fashioned, quiet country home. Completely clean and spacious. Warm, friendly host. Nice available storage space, ventilation and locks. Received soap, incest repellent, toilet tissue, drinking water and clean towels regularly. Good AC and fan in the room. Bathing wasn't so fun; no working shower nor warm water. It's hard to find food as a foreigner. Swiggy is clueless and the chow halls/diners and grocery are a brisk walk up hill. In addition to the iffy food storage and cooking space. Not business friendly; nowhere comfortable to use a laptop. This is a nice place to get stuck with your partner. Nothing else really. But I still really liked it here solo, in addition to other set backs.

It is rustic quiet and serene great getaway from it all retreat. Close to beach and there are a few eateries nearby. Lovely family run business with pretty garden. You are made to feel at home.

Sweet house, nice staff

Ganesh house homestay is an excellent place to stay if you want to be at a place a bit away from the biggest beach and commercial spots at Kovalam. It's close to a smaller beach called Grow, and there are a few restaurants nearby that are very nice. The house offers complimentary water and you have access to the kitchen including fridge/freezer. We had planned to stay at Ganesh for three days, but only stayed for one day and a half. This, however, had nothing to do with either the house or Ganesh, who is a lovely host and super friendly. We simply got an offer to check in two days early at the next hotel we were staying at further down south in Kovalam for free, since our room had become available, so we decided to shorten our stay at Grow beach and head on south. I would gladly recommend Ganesh house home stay. It's comfortable, homey and clean - and the wifi is stable.

Für den Preis und die Lage super!

Nettes, familiär geführtes Hotel in Strandnähe (ca. 5min Fußweg ). Leider funktionierte unsere Klimaanlage nicht richtig, was anscheinend auch in anderen Zimmern ein Problem gewesen ist. Roomservice gab es die ganzen 5 Tage nicht, aber ansonsten alles sehr sauber im Haus.

Really good spot

I stayed at the Ganesh House for a few days this past June. I found he place to be very comfortable. Manoj, the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. I hadn't been to Kovalum Beach in years so it was great having his help and advice. The rooms are of really good value. They're clean and spacious. The wifi worked well. The home is beautiful with different areas to lounge.
