"We spent a lovely 3 day weekend here for my husbands birthday. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures and there is so many different things to do on the property especially for kids. My kids skateboarded around the driveway and played basketball half of the trip. We loved being able to go down onto the dock first thing in the morning and watch the mist on the water. It is very quiet here as it is one of the last homes on the road. The hot tub was very clean and huge! We watched a handful of movies while we were here as they have a wide selection including recently released movies. The beds are extremely comfortable. The entire place is inviting, very similar to the owners. They were there when we first arrived and showed us around the property. Some of the loveliest people we have come across in a long time. This place is incredibly charming and it is made clear very quickly that they have spared no expense to make their guests feel at home. We enjoyed oursleves immensely and plan on making this an annual trip for our family. Thank you Pearle and Dave for everything! "

"Pool was out of order. Annoying, but not the worst part of the stay. The bathroom in my room had several issues. There was initially no hot water. It was after 8 pm by the time maintenance fixed it. The sink drained very slowly. The toilet was loose and movable. Wallpaper was peeling and lots of mold on the wall around the shower. Even if I trusted in room coffee pots, I still couldn’t use it because of missing parts. The worst thing was finding dirt in the melted ice this morning. It was left in the bucket after filling my cup last night with that ice and drinking from the cup all night long. Lots of dirt. The staff was friendly but no response yet from my email to management. "
