Staff was great....did not steer us wrong with restaurant suggestions and a scenic drive. Motel very basic but didnt have high expectations based on price. No frills. Good location.
Our one-bedroom casita was clean and well-kept. There was plenty of room for the three of us. We had a great time exploring the national park and Terlingua. Highly recommend.
Courteous staff, quiet place, away from others. Peaceful and had a beautiful view. Santa Fe house (33) had a kitchenette as not to rely on eating out after hiking, which we liked. Hot, nice shower. Close, very close to Big Bend, cut down on drive times.
Likely one of the best options in the town, great location and friendly staff, unfortunately the walls are paper thin so I could hear my (quite loud) neighbors conversations as if they were in the room with me. If that's a deal breaker for you bring a fan for white noise or something.

Considering it’s Location close to Big Bend national Park, it was convenient to stay there. It was adequate for those with the camping mentality. Just be aware that the walls are paper thin and conversations can be heard from rooms next-door. Because they requested that no toilet paper be flushed down the toilet, I would’ve expected them to empty the trash can at least every other day. There are no amenities other than a bed and bathroom with nice hot water and a shower. I would stay here again if visiting Big Bend.

Overall stay is ok as we don't find many options at Big bend national park. Paid 225 USD per day was a huge but the room facilites provided were just ok. Could see stainmarks in shower tub and kitchen platform, broken tap-nobs/faucets and Poor internet services.

The room looked like it was from the 80's and had not been cleaned well since, bugs in the light covers and you had to put used toilet paper in a small metal can with a lid. There was low water pressure and not very hot
Staff was very friendly.

Empty the TP bucket daily. It got stinky in the bathroom even with the lid closed. Otherwise, it was fine. I’d prefer to keep the price low rather than add amenities. We were gone 5am-8pm. So we just needed a place to sleep. Maybe warn folks the walls are thin, but neighbors quieted when we told them we heard them. So people were respectful.
Friendly staff. Clean room, but the electrical outlets were worn out. The charger would not stay in one outlet and in another it slipped a bit and lost contact leaving me with an uncharged phone.
Also outlets were poorly placed— behind bed, under table making it easy to lose a charger
Three-night stay in cabin 34 (which is part of a triplex unit.) Cold fridge, had cooking utensils but never cooked. Bed on the "soft" side. Clean. One complaint was reminded of items not to put in toilet--including TP! Not very sanitary putting used TP in a bag. When asked, told septic system old. Dish TV had good selection of channels. Water pressure at sinks excellent; however, shower very little pressure. Great eating facilities available, close by entrance to Big Bend.

The room is fine with hot water and hitting facility, but main problem was that no Wifi, though the wifi connection is there but if you want to connect you can’t. When you ask those guys regarding this service they made various excuses and said we can't fix it. We were there for two nights, both the nights we had same situation. Initial behavior was friendly during checkin but once we asked about the Wifi issue then their behavior turned 180 degree opposite. Thanks…

The one bedroom unit has the basics but can use updating. It was clean enough for an older place. The upholstered furniture was not inviting. There is tv but no wi fi. The kitchen has the bare essentials but did not have a kitchen towel or anything other than towel paper to wrap food in. We used a purple bath towel for that purpose.
We loved the location with easy and fast access into the National Park.
