A very good place to stay, breakfast is excellent and better than some breakfasts at other Tenby resturants! Good location, very close to the beach. Only drawbacks are internet is sometimes a bit flaky and the shower pressure is a bit weak.

Marvellous Myrtke

I found the room and hotel very amenable to chilling, and relaxingm which was what I needed. The room was comfortable, the service, including the breakfast, was very good. Would recommend.

Great location and a warm welcome.

Very warm welcome at the Myrtle. Jan and Rob looked after us very well. Jan even hopped in the car when we arrived to help us find free on street car parking. Friendly and a fount of local knowledge Jan made our stay a very enjoyable one. Shout out to Rob who cooks the fantastic breakfasts. Perfect poached eggs every time.

Property was lovely. Jan was very accommodating; we had a late train in and she waited up for us. Room was clean, breakfast was good. Difficult to get a taxi, no Uber. Cell service was null. Plan your travel in advance. Town was wonderful!

Wonderful guest house so well situated and managed by a fantastic lady. Facilities were excellent and breakfast delightful. Only shortcoming was internet that really is ineffective (though we understand that this is being addressed in the medium term). No cell coverage either, but that’s not the hostesses’ fault! Sorry we left with the key….its already in the mail first class and should be there in a day or two.

Due to caring responsibilities I'd not had a holiday in nearly 10 years. The need for a break overcome the anxiety going solo, I need not have worried as 4 other guests were as well! I had a fantastic time, lovely welcome from Rob, good breakfast and I was well looked after by Jan, as she did with all her guests. My room was lovely and soooo clean, brilliant white bedding and towels. Tenby is simply beautiful, I have been many times as a child and adult. Jan, I hope to be back for a visit in October!

Stayed at Myrtle House Hotel.Lovely Full Breakfast, very friendly & helpful very convenient 100 yards from the beach, plenty of places to eat, plenty of shops. Multi Storey Car Park. We went on-line to Pembroke County Council. For a ‘Parking Passport Permit’ cost £35 for 7 days and you can go and come back as many times as you like, but we stayed there for the whole time. Also went on double decker open top to Saundersfoot beach. Also, boat trip to Caldey Island. Also, my wife’s name is Myrtle. Yes we did enjoy our stay. Thanks to both Jan & Rob.

Little gem :)

Arrived a little early Rob booked us in very friendly. Room was lovely could see the sea from both windows. Room was clean and well equipped. Heating worked due to getting wet earlier in the day. Met Jan in the morning lovely lady couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely breakfast room sunshine streaming through the window breakfast was fab all weekend. Would def stay again please do your research this right in the middle of Tenby. There is no parking we parked in the multi storey and bought a weeks ticket for £30 you can come and go as you please but we didn't move the car until we were leaving. Its a 5 min walk from the guest house. This is Tenby it does a taxi service but please be aware there are no Ubers which is not the guests house problem do your research beforehand marking the guest house down for this is ridiculous. Thanks Jan and Rob had a wonderful stay with you :)

Tenby by the sea in a lovely hotel.

We were very warmly welcomed and looked after by the owner. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. There was a homely feel to the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Other guests were very pleased with it too. We would certainly go again.
