Jan and Jeff are terrific hosts. We appreciate their wealth of knowledge of the local area as well as recommendations for other places we are visiting in NZ. Our room was comfortable and the king size bed a welcome delight after a long hike. Breakfast was delicious especially the coffee. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

The very best B&B in Te Anau

Staying at Jeff and Jan’s place was an exceptional and memorable experience.not only is their B&B comfortable and peaceful, it is one of the cleanest B&Bs I have ever experienced. This is a true B&B in the old fashioned sense of the word, with breakfast made for you each morning specially, and rooms and bathrooms cleaned daily. Evenings provide access to the inside and outside grounds, which are exceptionally manicured and relaxing. Our very highest recommendation for this exquisite place to stay!

Jan and Jeff were so hospitable and kind. We had 6am breakfast starts each day and Jeff cheerily got up to serve us. Hot tub was very welcome after two intense days of hiking and kayaking!

Very nice & quiet 2 bedroom B&B. The host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. Jeff had a fire in the wood stove in the morning and evening to take off the fall chill. Hot tub outside, where we sat with a glass of wine watching the sheep graze in the neighboring pasture. Lovely location a few kilometers south of Te Anau.

Wonderful hosts and home

We stayed for two nights in the Rose Room with Jeff and Jan as our onsite hosts. Everything was as described in hotel website and positive reviews. Very comfortable bed and higher end amenities. The hot tub was sparkling clean and the breakfasts & morning conversations a delight. Their onsite kitty and small doggie were an added bonus. It is clear these hosts make hospitality and guest comfort their highest priority. We look forward to our return visit and highly recommend.
