"Lovely hotel as ever clean room, very friendly helpful staff , nothing is too much trouble. Swimming pool was great and jacuzzi was most invigorating, just what was needed first thing in the morning. Plenty of parking onsite , so on the whole a very pleasant 3 night stay. "

"We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu."

"Beautiful surroundings, the cottage we stayed in was spacious, well kept and ideal for a relaxing break. During most of our stay the onsite restaurant was closed but there are great local options available. The only downside was the pool area was looking a little tired with the jacuzzi and a shower in the changing area out of service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our time here."
