"Justin and Jennifer were super helpful and friendly. Place has a tonne of character and very clean. Air con was amazing as it was a hot weekend. Bed was comfortable. Property is lovely and relaxing with nice outdoor seating areas. Perfect wine and whiskey bar 5min walk away too 👌"

"A very special place to stay. Formerly a classic kiwi shearing shed, it has been renovated with love and by someone with a great eye for colour, fabric and furnishing. It had an excellent well-stocked kitchen and the longest bath I think I've ever seen. The bedroom was sweet and the huge front living space perfect to relax in with our small dog George. This is a fabulous place to stay very near the stunning beaches from Matauri Bay north to Te Ngaere Bay and Piapia Bay (wow!). Located on a farm, it was lovely to see the horses in the morning and walk through the fields to see the extensive views inland and down to the bays. The art on the walls was an extra bonus. We loved our stay and thank the hosts for making this cool space available to us and our wee dog."

"The most incredible week! 4 adults and 4 kids and the place was the perfect size. It truly is a stunning location with the most breathtaking view.We were so excited to explore the bays below but unfortunately it was inaccessible. It would be great if this could be fixed at some point because it was disappointing to not be able to go down there. House is a little dated but it’s perfect for a beach holiday. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. One more fan in the top bedroom would be helpful as it got pretty hot. We would love to come back next summer. Julie was fantastic at communicating with all my questions. A truly wonderful family holiday! "

"Perfect for what we needed. We were 5 adults staying for 2 nights. Loved having breakfast and dinner sitting outside and using the BBQ. Flyscreens are a lifesaver allowing you to keep the windows open on those hot summer nights. Gay was lovely and my parents loved having a chat with her. Great to be able to just pop across the road for a dip and up to the shops. Fully equipped house, clean and tidy. "
