Aunque el hotel no es nuevo, está muy cuidado. Las vistas son espectaculares. Se puede aparcar gratis en la puerta y tiene parada de bus en la puerta al centro e Isola Bella. El único probiema son las noches, que si bajas al centro de Taormina tienes que volver en taxi. Por ello, recomiendo aprovechar los dos restaurantes a cada lado del hotel para la cena y aprovechar el dia en Taormina. Se duerme muy bien (sin calor) por la altura. El personal y el desayuno de 10. La bolleria es del dia

Room with a view!!

Fabtastic location to enjoy one of the best views ever with the dignity of Mount Etna as a back drop. Room we had was small but very adequate with a balcony overlooking everything. Staff were all top notch and hotel facilities, including a pool and deck, worthy of this location. A nice oasis from the hustle and bustle of beautiful Taormina below. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

De locatie is niet te evenaren. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De toekomstige patrones Celeste is super. Minder zijn de maaltijden. Niet slecht maar wat gewoon. Ok ze zijn zeker niet prijzig. De accomodatie heeft een opknapbeurt nodig. Het was de vierde maal dat ik er mijn vakantie doorbracht.

Het hotel bevindt zich wel op het hoogste punt van de stad maar dit geeft een mooi uitzicht op de zee en de Etna. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op de avond kan je uitrusten bij het zwembad en een drankje drinken op het terras met geweldig uitzicht. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid.

Very fine hotel with a great view. The pool was super clean and the whole pool area was delicious. Alessandro has made sure that breakfast was a very nice experience and the hotel's barista Givlielmino makes a really good coffee. One could easily get to the main street in 13 min. and close to the hotel itself are also good restaurants.

The hotel is very high on the hill. The rooms are very old fashioned style. Shower very bad. Ran out of hot water and had no pressure. Pool closes at 7 pm. They Charged for coffee for included breakfast, which is weird in Italian culture.

AMAZING hotel with amazing service!

Everything about our stay at Hotel Sole Costello was great! I can't say enough about how friendly the staff was - from check-in, to breakfast every morning, and especially to the poolside bartender in the afternoon! Some of the negative reviews we had read prior to our trip mentioned that the rooms didn't have air conditioning in June, but that was absolutely not the case! Our room had central air that kept the room feeling great and was constantly operating (as long as the balcony door was closed). From our experience, the negative reviews saying that the rooms were hot or full of mosquitos were absolutely unfounded. Quick note about traveling into downtown Taormina - there are two staircases that lead from the hotel directly down into the city center, and the front desk staff gave us very clear directions when we checked in about how to access each staircase and which one to use at night, etc. It was an easy walk down (taking about 15 - 20 minutes by the time we stopped to admire the amazing views), but it could definitely be a challenge to walk up the stairs at the end of a long day of sight-seeing! Luckily the city bus (stops are labelled "Fermata") stopped right at the front door of the hotel! The name of the stop is Madonna della Rocca and there is a bus schedule posted right in the lobby for easy reference. All in all - a truly amazing hotel and great way to experience everything that Taormina has to offer!!!

L'hôtel est bien avec une vue superbe. Terrasse agréable. Seul bémol, la fenêtre de la chambre réservée donnait sur un mur et était petite. Elle n'était pas chère mais en être averti aurait été bien. Heureusement on pouvait profiter de la terrasse de l'hôtel.

Отель находится в живописном месте. С балкона номеров и с террасы открываются шикарные виды. Очень радует наличие бассейна, тк до моря далеко. Номерной фонд старый. В нашем номере был неисправен бачек унитаза, но мы справлялись))Держатель для душа тоже был неисправен. Но все эти недостатки меркли на фоне достоинств отеля - приятный персонал, шикарнейший вид на таормину, вкусная еда, хороший бассейн с видом на город, море и вулкан Этну... это сказочно. Порадовала и цена ( нам обошелся номер с завтраками около 50 евро в сутки) Добраться до отеля сжд вокзала кто не знает можно на желтом автобусе...он ходит раз в час-полтора зато везет прямо к месту. Билет покупать заранее на него не надо. Остальные же автобусы едут только до центра а потом надо пересаживаться на другой. И требуется билет который можно купить в буфете вокзала.

Friendly staff - basic room

Hotel reception areas were in good condition with friendly and helpful staff. My room however, was very basic and outdated with cracked plaster and cracked tiles in the bathroom. That bathroom was small with a small shower. The doors are also paper-thin so could hear everything in the hallway. Was fine for a few nights (shorter stay) though.
