"Checked in around 10 PM on Thursday. There were only two large towels and no bathroom floor mat (we are 2+ a baby). The front desk guy told us that they don’t have more towels and we have to wait until 8 AM. He was also trying not to give us extra towels the day after because they have a set amount of towels for their 80 rooms!! The housekeeping lady on 3/21 was amazing. She gave us more towels in the bathroom floor mat. Forgot to mention that they don’t have cribs at all!! "

"The property doesn't look like much from the outside. I felt a little scared checking in due to the looks and condition of the property and the surrounding community, but the "lobby" has a list of rules, regulations, and policies tacked onto a bulletin board that I believe make it a pretty safe place to be. The staff does not allow unannounced guests on the property, loitering, and require photo IDs from everyone. I was not impressed with room cleanliness, however. The floor needed a good sweep and mop, the hot water worked 25% of the time, and the comforters and sheets, while clean, were not in the most impressive shape. A/C worked amazing, and for the price, I would consider revisiting the Bay Inn for a SHORT stay. Good place to stay if you are a cheap traveler like myself."

"Noise from the highway even on 8th floor very loud. Room clean, staff excellent and very helpful. Breakfast Monday ran out of food. Parking expensive on site. Location Wonderful for walking to arena, aquarium, waterfront, Sparkman wharf,restaurants, bars."

"I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your property. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room I had originally reserved was unavailable due to a maintenance issue. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I was then reassigned to a significantly smaller room that was not comparable to my original booking. Additionally, the condition of the replacement room was unacceptable, as it was not clean and did not meet basic standards. When I raised my concerns with the staff, I was informed that no other rooms were available, leaving me with no reasonable alternative. This experience was highly disappointing and did not reflect the level of service I expected. As a result, my stay was extremely unpleasant, and I regret to say that I will not consider returning in the future. I kindly request that you review this matter and provide an appropriate response. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to hearing from you."
