This place was inhabited, it was closed down when we arrived. Read from other reviews this hotel was shut down due to water damage. This hotel posting has to be removed. We had to get another hotel the last munute.

Stay somewhere else

The lights in the bathroom were not working properly. There was apparent mold on the ceiling, a colony of dead ants on the sink, and the room stank of cigarettes. The free breakfast was nice though...-

Great night sleep on a budget

When checking in I advised I was going to pay cash instead of using the card on file...front desk advised I would need an additional 50 cash as a deposit which I wasn't expecting. Room was clean and very clean (minus a few old faded stains in the coverlet on the top of the bed that I don't sleep with anyways). was there 2 nights, when I cam back in from being out all day my room had not been touched! NO MAID SERVICE at all! No trash removed, no bed made, no towels replaced... nothing... I was however, the only one staying in the room and didn't need much anyways...And since this had been a stressful trip and it was almost 11 oclock at night I opted not to say anything and go to sleep since I was checking out the next morning. All said it was a good stay. It was fairly well kept, clean and safe compared to other hotels in the area, and this is my 4th stay in Tallahassee in 3 months..

Over all OKAY. Breakfast hit the spot, AC worked good, rooms smeeled a little moldy, and the bed covers were stained. For the money, I was hoping for a little nicer place but overall it was an okay place to stay. Within 10 min of downtown without the downtown rates.

The room and bathroom were dirty, I called front desk and all they offered was febreeze, no room change because they were “fully booked”. 30 mins later the febreeze never made it to me as promised and I had to go get it myself from front desk. We also had no towels and carpet smelled like toilet had leaked onto it TERRIBLE sewerage odor.

The tv was impossible to watch because the picture was so horrible. There stains on the bedding of one bed that looked like bed bugs. There was a dehumidifier that was blinking full and no one came to change sheets, empty trash, or replenish towels. I wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel was dirty, smell of foul mildew, bathroom had urine stains and smell. Room 212 had infestation of ants. Front desk clerks we either poorly trained or just didn't care anything about customer care. Manager was rude, and argumentative to all customer's concerns

Someone Was Smoking Weed on the 3rd Floor

We had a youth group staying for a conference in Birmingham. On the second night the entire floor reeked of Marijuana. It was coming from a group of 3-4 rooms. Management was approached about the situation twice, but they said their was nothing they could do about it.

Great for a short stay.

Beds were comfortable although there were 2 stains on bedspread of 1 bed. A/C worked GREAT! Plenty of Towels. Surprisingly someone forgot the Toilet Paper but all we had to do was ask and we received it. Staff was very courteous and available. Mini fridge freezer was only working at same temp as fridge, kept our water bottles and a bit cooler than room temp :(. Would have been really nice to have a microwave. Everything you would want for eating & shopping is nearby. I would stay again at the right price and if I'm in a pinch.

It’s a run down facility that’s dated and not kept up. The breakfast was terrible and the coffee even worse.

Old, tired, and musty

Have stayed twice and both times have been meh...the rooms are slightly below average, the breakfast I had on Saturday AM was not that good...Sunday's looked better with eggs, but I missed it. They must have a moisture problem because both times I've had a dehumidifier in my room (and the rooms smelled musty). First time I was on the 1st floor...this time the 3rd. Both visits the staff was great. Don't think I'll give this a 3rd try even if the price is right.

No Frills, Excellent Value, Older Property

The overall appearance is below standard. The fixtures were outdated and worn. The staff was friendly, but they did not have much to work with. The breakfast offerings were marginal, but adequate if all you wanted was a piece of fruit and coffee...the hot entrees were unattractive and unappetizing. Excellent value, if all that is required is a place to sleep and a hot shower.

Check in was an hour long. The clerk may have been new but after driving 16 hours I believe a sence of urgency should have been used. Checked into 2 rooms for my family so Instead of paying for both together they made me pay separately which means 2 separate taxes. Ran out of tissue called front desk was told they were out and they weren't allowed to go look in the room or closet for more until the morning manager came. Checked our after 3 night's I was charged 3 times Instead of twice for my 2 rooms. Never again!!!

STAY AWAY!!!

This hotel is full of scam. I had to pay cash for my room and was told I need to do a $50 deposit. When it was time to check out the had no record of my deposit. The clerk pocketed the deposit for himself and the general manager was very rude. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Scam scam scam!!! On top of the rooms being filthy...

No room for you!

We arrived only to be told that our room was not available because all of their remaining rooms were dirty so they had cancelled our reservation and we were not being charged for our room. Well we had in fact already been charged for our room and I am still trying to get the money returned to my account. I will NEVER book at a Quality Inn anywhere again.
