I stayed at Ovolo Woolloomooloo for a quick overnight stay and really loved it. The view over the Bay was gorgeous and made the stay feel extra special, even though it was short. I also have to mention the lolly station—such a fun little bonus! It definitely added to the vibe. Overall, a super nice place to stay. I’d happily come back for a longer visit next time.

Our stay was average. The staff were nice, the location of the hotel itself was good. Only a 30min stroll to the circular quay/Opera house with gardens/museum on the way and plenty of fabulous restaurants downstairs on the wharf. Our room was wharf side on level 3 right next to the laundry room/ lift which was quite noisy, we were woken by a loading truck each morning. The bathroom lighting was quite poor and needed a decent extractor fan. Did have a nice cocktail in the bar area, the decor is pretty and inviting. Overall an OK stay.

Staff was great ! Location was fabulous! Hotel requires professional dust and ventilation cleaning in my room and all common areas. The dust accumulation is very evident within the rooms and industrial fans and plantings located in common areas. Pool and jacuzzi also require cleaning attention.

Check-in (and out) was super easy. The staff was attentive and super helpful. The loft suites are superb and spacious. The location is terrific. The restaurants on-site are top-notch. The interior is oddly cool. The downsides, though? Our door kept locking us out and we would have to go to reception, from the 5th floor using a relatively slow elevator, to get help to let us in. It would take an additional 10-15 minutes to get into our room (multiple times over a 3 night stay). It was a minor inconvenience, but the fact that we couldn't get a straight answer about why it was happening and the fact that it just kept happening was unfortunate. The only other downside? The hot tub was lukewarm (like 92 degrees at most). Not a biggie, but after all the traveling we had done, we were hoping for something a bit more....relaxing. That said, we just went into the bathtub with the complimentary epsom salts instead. Overall, I would easily stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone.
