Es war mit Kleinkind eine absolut runde Sache: Kinderbett und Windeleimer wurden gestellt, die Zimmerreinigung auf Anfrage war vollkommen unkompliziert. Sonderwünsche (zusätzlicher Topper, um weicher zu schlafen) und kleinere Defekte, die man monierte (Belüftung im Bad fiel aus, Wasserhahn war undicht) wurden umgehend erfüllt oder repariert. Die Vielfalt des Frühstücksbuffets war absolut großartig, das Restaurant war sehr entgegenkommend (Penne für das Kleinkind) und überall hatte man den Eindruck, die Mitarbeitenden haben Lust auf ihre Tätigkeit. Ansonsten blieb auch mit dem Spa-Bereich kein Wunsch offen. Einzige minimale Kritikpunkte: Das kostenlose Wlan war nicht so richtig stabil. Sundern als Stadt ist nicht so richtig interessant (bis auf das großartige, versteckte Heimatmuseum in der alten Kornbrennerei), sondern ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gern wieder.

Schön und nett

Schön und gepflegt, freundlich, einzig die Check-in-Frage stellte sich (bei späterer Ankunft) als etwas umständlich heraus - Tipp: bei der Hotline länger warten, bis alles angesagt ist, erst dann funktioniert die Tonwahl im System. Ansonsten super Hotel, guter Preis und scheinbar auch ein sehr gutes Wellnessangebot (leider nicht genutzt).

Für einen Kurztrip ohne langen Flug nach Afrika in die Savanne des Hochsauerlands ist das Sunderland Hotel ein geeigneter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Ausflüge in der Gegend. Der Wellness-Bereich über den Dächern Sunderns ist besonders bei sternklarer Nacht sehr zu empfehlen.

Nettes Hotel mit einem Hauch Afrika in der Einrichtung, nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal und ein sehr ordentlicher Zimmerservice. Das includierte Frühstück bietet eine riesige Auswahl und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Leider fällt der Wellnessbereich etwas zu klein aus und schliesst am Wochenende schon eine Stunde früher als in der hauseigenen Infomappe angegeben - ärgerlich, da wir unseren Tagesablauf extra so geplant hatten, dass wir abends noch eine Stunde in die Sauna können... Insgesamt gut.
