The room was amazing. Spotless, quiet, and comfortable. The only problem I had is that Expedia apparently didn't contact the hotel to actually reserve my room. The hotel staff said it wasn't the first time!!! What the heck?!?! Why can't Expedia simply do what they are paid and promise o do. Will probably book hotels directly in the future if I can't trust Expedia to do their job!!!!!!!!!

Perfect location for the airport and for public transport into the city. Lovely, restful decor in hotel. Very comfortable and spacious room, great shower, AC and a large window which opens. When closed, soundproofing is great. Fridge, water, kettle and cups provided. Superb 4* breakfast, so much choice. Hard to fault the loveliness of this hotel. Perhaps they could provide recycling bins for guests to dispose of plastic or newspapers etc. Would love to return.

Very nice hotel, image like being new. Cosy, well thought-through details. Good restaurant. The 32 Euros parking fee per night for hotel guests rather look like a hidden profit generation. If the room rate is reasonable, this hotel can be fully recommended without restrictions.

Property was great only downside was Hungary national football team were staying at same time , so couldn’t access certain areas, security guards at every corner ,which is understandable, but overall a great hotel and staff , good location for airport

The check-in took a bit of time as they couldn't find my booking at first. I got checked-in eventually. There are multiple elevators, so the time to your room is significantly short. The room was spacious, bed was soft and the lighting was dim and cozy few things that jumped at me were, despite being a 4star hotel some basic points weren't met, The room had no dental hygiene products no (toothbrush or tooth paste). The room had a big tv but neither was it connected to cable not was the Google Chromecast working I had requested for wake up service, which I didn't receive. I had to leave early so breakfast wasn't an option, but I wasn't very impressed by the hotel to be honest. Average

Great hotel with a few hick-ups

The lobby and other public spaces give a nice and warm feeling. The checking in to the hotel went smoothly. The only weird thing is a deposit of 50€ reserved from the card at arrival while the room is paid fully in advance. Mövenpick does not rush to cancel the reserved deposit either when the customer leaves. The hotel is located next to the airport and tramway station. My room was facing the airport terminal and trams were running just under my window. Amazingly there was virtually no noise at all; the windows have a very efficient sound proofing. The room was decorated in a very youthful and warm, invigorating style. Very pleasant! The bed was extremely comfortable. Equipped with a desk and a comfortable armchair in front of the window. Setting the room temperature was somewhat a mystery. I would recommend adding better labelling for switches for setting the temperature. The bathroom was clean with very modern interior, decent amenities and including enough towels. Complimentary mineral water, one bottle of both flat and sparkling type, is a very nice touch. However, it would be better if the bottles were placed in the fridge in advance. There is also a water kettle, teabags, instant coffee and sugar in the room. While I would otherwise give a higher rating, there was an incident that is worth mentioning. I stayed for 5 nights and on one day, the house keeping had not visited my room at all. This is something that just should not happen in a four star hotel!
