We always love the quietness of the place. One of our favorite parts is the breakfast, with the customized nameplate for my family, and all my favorite German deli meats and cheeses.

The property is wonderful, but it does need some improvements. The beds are rather low to the ground, and the mattresses kept slipping off the frame. The shower has a high step that felt hazardous stepping out onto a slippery floor. Also, the wifi in the room was non-existent. You had to go to the lobby to connect.

Nettes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Es war soweit alles ok. Die Doppelbetten waren nur nicht so gut, da diese nicht fest verbunden waren und dadurch die Matratze ständig verrutscht ist. Das Frühstück war gut, nicht gerade umfangreich dennoch ausreichend. Das man für das Parken zahlen muss wenn vor dem Hotel nichts mehr frei ist, finde ich nicht gut

Rezeption und Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück gut und ausreichend. Zentrale Lage in Steinach, allerdings durch unmittelbar vorbeiführende Durchgangsstrasse abends und auch nachts viel Verkehrslärm. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster kaum möglich. Einrichtung zweckäßig und praktisch.

Der Kaffee und die Brötchen waren lecker, der Kaffee jedoch leider nur noch lauwarm wenn man an den Frühstückstisch kam. Rührei war sehr, sehr lecker !!! Bei Ankunft war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig ( Betten nicht bezogen ) Wir waren nach 14:00 h vor Ort. Uns wurde von der Housekeeping - Dame angeboten, dass sie die Schlafcouch ausziehen und beziehen könne wenn wir dies möchten. Was wir sehr nett fanden, jedoch ablehnten. Am nächsten Abend wollten wir einen gemütlichen TV- Abend auf der Schlafcouch verbringen und waren,nachdem wir diese ausgeklappt hatten entsetzt !!!! Der Matratzenschoner war voller Blutflecke,Dreck,Gras, Sand.Ebenso befand sich darauf ein gefalteter Zettel mit der Aufschrift: 5131 Charly. Selbst wenn man diese Couch nicht zum Schlafen benutzt muss diese kontrolliert und ggf. gereinigt werden. Was uns aber dermaßen enttäuscht und verärgert hat ist, dass mein Mann gegen 23.00 h von mir geweckt werden musste um unser Auto wieder umzuparken. Die vorhandene Parkplätze waren alle besetzt, Jedoch war 1 Parkplatz von einem Gast belegt,der kein Hotelgast war. Meine Bitte an die Dame an der Rezeption meinem Mann den Platz zur Verfügung zu stellen wurde abgelehnt. Für uns sehr Ärgerlich und auch unverständlich !!!!! Die Türklinke der Badezimmertür war locker .... wir hatten diese mehrmals in der Hand.

We should have stayed longer !!

Very friendly and helpful ..Excellent experience for us ..I,m only sorry that we did not stay for 3 more nights ..which we had at a "help yourself " hotel room in the vicinity which we had booked a lot earlier ...not a patch on Sporthotel .. We will be looking for accom . in this area next year ..Sprthotel is on the list...
