We loved our stay here! The location was amazing. It was quiet and secluded, but we were able to walk to several hiking trails. The view from the deck was beautiful and we used the hot tub everyday. There was plenty of room for everyone. We communicated with the host a couple of times and they responded quickly. Would stay again!
My two younger daughters loved this cabin. Between the fire-pits and smores to the sitting by the rivers edge, they loved this perfect secluded hike in the woods!
We loved the fire pit & outdoor eating space on the deck, the hot tub was great, beds were comfortable & the house is lovely. The location is amazing…felt like we were the only people in RRG! Could not have been better— we’ll definitely be back!
We had a great time at this cabin. The space was perfect size for four couples and a dog. We appreciated the quick response from the host when needed. No complaints.
We enjoyed the grill and fire pit! Great views from the porch. We lost power, but the generator kicked in no problem. Unfortunately the generator does not connect to the water pump so we had no water last day of our stay.
We had a great time at this cabin! It’s one of the largest we’ve stayed at in the area. We were able to sit on a large covered deck that had a nice gas fire pit that you can actually enjoy the rain. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the morning with our coffee when it was cooler . The views were wonderful. We looked onto the river and watched the ducks land on it on two different days, and saw birds using the river as their flight path. The kitchen table was huge. The beds and couches were very comfortable. The automatic entry gate was terrific. The huge gated deck was perfect for our dogs. This is a place we’d love to come back to!
We came to Kentucky for the glass bottom kayaking, which was so much fun. We had 4 adults and 4 children and this house was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. The living room and kitchen were open to each other so we could sit and socialize without trying to cram into a tiny room. The kitchen table fit all of us. The deck was cozy and inviting. We had some people by the fire and some in the hot tub. We also all fit around the fire later for some warming up. The views were gorgeous and peaceful. We loved it so much we did not want to leave.

This place was very cute. The location is how the crow flies. It will take over 30 minutes to get to the most popular hikes and they list it as 6 min drive. All the drives were all 20-40 mins away.
It is listed with 2 full bathrooms. The shower upstairs flooded the downstairs bedroom. I called right away and said they would send a maintenance guy over but he didn't come until the next day. This was not going to be an easy fix. The walls and ceiling will have to be dug into. I looked back at the other comments and they KNEW about this issue and still let people rent it. They offered to move us but our vacation was short so we didn't want to take the time to move. They said they would refund us 25% but they only refunded 20%. Not happy!
It needs a good spring cleaning. Lots of cobwebs in the lights inside and out. Also, you cannot lower the temperature of the hot tub. We could only put our legs in it because it was too hot to sit down.
This property needs to be cleaned, fix the shower upstairs and fix the hot tub.
Overall we had a great time at this cabin! We were very excited to get there and see it for ourselves and it absolutely met our expectations! We will definitely be back to visit in the future!
The cabin was clean and well-equipped. Our host was incredibly responsive, addressing all our questions promptly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone!
We had a fantastic stay! The first couple of days we had interesting torrential downpours. At one point we lost power, and we’re thrilled that the property had a built-in generator. We enjoyed using the hot tub after some long hikes. The grill and washing machine/dryer worked well. Loved the floor to ceiling windows!
Loved the cabin loved the privacy saw the northern lights from the front porch it’s a little far from RRG

We wanted to like this place - the house itself was great and in a great location. But it is very poorly maintained. Grill didn't work, dishwasher didn't work. When we arrived at the house at 4:45 the cleaning lady was just leaving and told us there was a problem with the hot tub and they were refilling it. A random woman and her child were hanging out on the back deck while the hot tub filled. This went on for hours. I was texting with the management who told me the hot tub would be fine once it was filled up. It was green. Never got clear. We couldn't use it. And it was one of the main things we were looking forward to.
This cabin is awesome. It feels like a diamond in the rough. Having all the luxuries you want on vacation but a secluded get away. There are multiple beautiful hikes with cool arches and cliffs within a 10 min drive. Not sure about other reviewer saying they had to drive far to find hikes. Definitely want to stock up on gas and supplies before entering the gorge because it is about 25 mins to closest stores, but that’s what we were looking to experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this cabin again. One thing to consider is that if you like to cook you may want to bring a few supplies along like a big stock pot or oven sheet for baking. Before you go you should write down the WiFi and password as well as the door code to login because you will not have any cell service to look something up or be able to call to ask questions if you have trouble getting into the cabin. Apple Maps will tell you the road is closed but that’s incorrect, it’s open. We used google maps for driving and it was much more accurate.
The cabin it self is very nice and the views were amazing the only thing is the grill had no gas neither did the big table so we couldn’t use them during our stay and also the small gas table in the pictures is no longer there
