"Room was clean enough but had areas that needed dusting. General maintenance was good and facilities are well kept. Spa is good value and is a great bonus to the hotel. Great area, close enough to Oslo to make it an easy trip during the day. Alternative places to eat in the area are all 30 minutes or so away though. "I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for a number of nights and it was great. A nicely appointed and spacious room and bathroom with underfloor heating. You could open the window which was pleasant, and the soundproofing between rooms seemed very good. There was the national strike on at the time of my stay, so can't comment on daily housekeeping but would assume it'd be good based on the rest of the hotel. The location is super handy as CC Hamar is just across the road, there is few coffee for guests in the lobby, and a short stroll to the train station and central Hamar and the wonderful lakeside walks. Definitely recommend and all the staff, despite the national strike, were lovely and helpful."
