In particular, the carpets appear dated and could be refreshed or replaced with alternative flooring. "The hotel was amazing in terms of location, beach, swimming pools and the dining options. The only reason I would rate it low was due to facilities, such as they did not have iron and when asked it was against their policy to provided an iron. Furthermore, I called the reception multiple times to remind for the pillows and they failed to bring it over, when I went downstairs, I was told that the housekeeping was closed. "

"I stayed here with my 4 children and it was excellent in every way! Anka was a wonderful host - we were greeted with Croatian cake and liqueur and my children were invited to pick oranges from the trees in the garden. Comfy beds & it was very handy having proper beds for all 5 of us. Washing machine in one of the bathrooms, and a very well equipped kitchen. Children loved them cat and other animals nearby. Great location, very quiet but not far to walk down to the harbour and the beautiful peninsula walks and swimming spots. I very much recommend Villa Anka."

"Fantastic property with the most amazing view. Property was clean and comfortable and gave us everything we needed. Maro was a perfect host who is friendly and helpful but respects your privacy. It was a very short walk to town but up a fairly steep hill, very close to restaurants and cafes. Definitely recommended. "

"This location and property ownervwere both top notch! The location on the harber was perfect for exploring the town. The views were amazing. Swimming in the protected harbor via steps with a handrail into the cordoned off swimming area was 15 yards away.The property owners were so kind, and generous. They helped with our day planning and suggestions for restaurants. Everything in town was just steps away.Taxis aren't allowed in the town center, but our driver helped us get our bags the two blocks to this historic villa. This location is a gem. I wish I was still there! It's a 10 out of 10 for me.The rooms were clean, and the kitchen well stocked with plates, etc. For us, we all agreed that it was location, location -- LOCATION that made this a great choice at this historic property."
