Nice location, looks good on the outside, easy parking, bed good, shower good, comfortable interior temperature and pleasant atmosphere (air), service very good. Negatives- toilet seat loose, bathroom door drags on floor, tv had lines through screen and refrigerator worked but bably yellowed. Overall would stay again because of good price, location and service.

The check in person was very nice and very understanding, because I missed placed my drivers license. This is an older motel but more than adequate for a man attending Gladiolus Days in St. Charles. Clean and the Air Conditioner worked Great for the Hottest weekend this year. I will stay again next year.

Check in was easy. Desk clerk (owner) courteous . Room was average clean. Room was very cold. Hot water heaters appeared not to function, only heat was from a small electric baseboard heater. Extra blankets had an odd smell. Probably not used since last winter.

Blood stain on extra pillow’s pillowcase. Bathroom door is warped and wouldn’t close all the way. Dried paint on washcloth. Shower stall was questionable and the shower curtain was terribly yellowed. TV rests on top of microwave. The floor slants terribly. You sign in with pencil. $76 was way too much for all of this. Maybe $40 cuz the room was warm but that should be the highest.

The toilet still had evidence of the previous occupant and the room smelled like mold. When my husband told staff we could not stay there five minutes after checking in, they would only refund one night's stay - they told him that was Expedia's rules. I will not use Expedia again.

We stay here on our yearly trip to St Charles. Where we display our model railroad at Gladius days So convenient perfect for our need. Would recommend.
