The owner was super friendly. But the room smelled quite musky and the AC was changed (turned warmer) while we were out of the room as well as the garbage being cleaned out without us approving for serviceOverall the stay was fine, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Loved the mid century modern look.

Wonderful little place to stay!

Tucked off the highway, you hardly notice it but it is a great little motel. Very clean . The best sink ever in the bathroom, which has all been renovated not too long ago. Very practical closet/cupboard. Extremely good coffee at the reception, and very nice receptionist/owner!

Quiet and peaceful.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in was very easy, and the property owner was very friendly. She communicated well with us. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner even placed a "congratulations" banner in our room, since she knew we were visiting the area for our anniversary. This was an overall great experience, and I would stay again.

Definitely not cooki-cutter older motel, this property celebrates the Frank Lloyd Wright style in a way that melds the original with modern comforts. (We especially loved the red leather Barcalounger.) The staff is friendly and helpful; the location is great for American Players Theater; and it is very quiet. We will be back.

Great place to stay

Our host, Carolina, greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. The whole booking and check-in process was very easy. It's such an interesting place! I loved the history of it and the decor. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It's located on the highway but we weren't bothered by any noise from it when we went inside. My only issue was that the bed squeaked, but I can't complain very much because I slept like a baby! Thank you, Carolina.
