We enjoyed the pool and beautiful views! The location was close to restaurants and the golf course we played. Very clean and loved sitting outside on the porch telling war stores and listening to music!
We had a blast at the RoostHaus. Very clean with a beautiful atmosphere. We loved all the amenities and the treasure hunt. Host was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Will definitely come again.
Michelle was so accommodating before and during our quick, unplanned stay due to a hurricane evacuation from the Gulf Coast. The property is beautiful and the views are fantastic - especially from the pool at sunset! We appreciated the fact that the property was pet friendly and the house was super cozy and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed how close the property was to grocery store and restaurants. We hope to come back again soon (but not due to a hurricane!). Thanks again, Michelle!
I want to start by saying that we've have been staying in airbnb and vrbo rentals over the last 4 years, and this was by far our favorite and the only one we for sure want to stay in The Host: Michelle is easy to get in contact with and is very friendly and helpful! The house: We stayed in the Roost, a charming two-story farm house. It was clean, beautifully decorated, spatious enough for our group of 5, and the ACs kept the house comfortably cool. Outside area:There are fairy lights in the trees, rocking chairs on the porch, a picnic table for outside dining, and a charcoal grill. It was so nice to sit outside and look out across the rolling hills.Water: The container pool (that is only available for this rent) was a genius idea). It's situated where you have the best views and the sun hits it just right where it keeps the water warm enough to swim in anytime of the day or night. There's also a shared pond on-site for swimming that's amazing! You just have to experience it. Location: This place gives you a peaceful and private stay, but is only about a 10 minute drive to anything you may need. You will not be dissapointed!! Side note: We stayed June 29th-July 2nd. We left Hill Country before the devestating floods hit. We are heart broken and praying for all involved.
Comfortable and relaxing way to celebrate an early bday and kick off the start to kindergarten! Great communication with host that was always available to answer. Check in and out was easy and house had all the things we needed. Hoping to be back in the future to make more memories!
We rented the property to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was even more calm and relaxing than the photos suggested. My kids and dog about the swimming hole, and my wife loved floating in the pool. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed in the Roost Haus for a girls weekend and it was idyllic! So peaceful, amazing views, pool, hot tub and pond…what else could you ask for? Well, the house itself was adorable, had all of the amenities we needed and more. We enjoyed ourselves so much, and so did my dog! We caught some great wildlife pics while we were there, including deer, frogs, bees. And the hosts had exceptional communication, made check in and out very easy, just what we needed. Can’t wait to stay again!
The entire stay, our host’s communication was outstanding. She shared detailed information and went above and beyond to make our stay special. VERY kid friendly property and felt very safe. During our visit, there was a pumpkin patch on the property, and she even left free tickets for our son — one of the highlights of his trip!.The rooms were nice and so comfortable, and the bathrooms were very clean. Everything we could’ve “forgotten” was also available — extra toiletries, plenty of towels, and thoughtful touches throughout. It was clear the hosts truly care about their guests and go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home.We spent both nights by the pool and hot tub. And the mornings eating breakfast at the picnic table. I loved how much seating was on the property. Rocking chairs out front, benches around the fire pit, Couches by the pool and 2 more by the hot tub. Life couldn’t get better. You really could roam the property and enjoy the house/views your whole trip. But we had prior plans booked so we were out and about during the days. We were very happy with the location of the house. It was close to grocery stores and a short commute to the natural bridge caverns. No complaints! The property itself was beautiful with amazing views, and we would 100% stay here again!
Cozy, charming farmhouse. Great setting in a wide open space… Easy walks and hikes. Easy access from 281. Hosts are responsive and available. Would go here again.
