"It was late when we arrived.We got a taxi from the airport for 14. Alice had kindly bought us bread, cheese, ham, butter and water so that we didn't have to go looking for the 24hr supermarket when we arrived. We loved the location looking onto the bay. It was on a main road but not too noisy.The area we stayed in (around Birzebbuga) wasn't touristy but you could walk 5-10mins to some nice restaurants and bars or prepare food in the apartment, which was well equipped. "

"The good: The property was in. Good location. Grocery store and public transportation within a 5 minute walk. The room was clean. There was a communal kitchen to use with everything you needed. Washer available to use. The terrible: There is a club right next door. The music was so loud it made the entire building shake! This was not disclosed in the listing, nor did I find this information in any reviews. From around 10:00 at night, till 4:00 every single night I got no sleep! It was awful!...

"We had to buy bedding - a duvet and sheets - because only one of the twin beds was made up, and the room was restricted to one person only. Due to RLS, my partner and I always choose places with twin beds. Guests' sleeping arrangements are personal, not up to the host to decide. It was extremely awkward! One of us had to sleep on the sofa."
