"I loved my week-long stay at The Canopy. I was very impressed with the level of cleanliness...hotels typically gross me out, but it was so nice to enter the lobby and smell the clean every time! I don't know what they have pumping through the air vents, but it did not go unnoticed, haha! I had a king sized bed, I loved the room, clean and updated! The interior doors are actually solid wood, not some composite material like other hotels of this class. There was a barn door to separate the bedroom area from the bathroom area, that was nice. The bathroom/open closet area was very spacious-I actually had room to put things! Liked having the refillable water jug. The shower in this hotel is one of the nicest I have seen...again for this class of hotel. True tile and glass doors...not a gross shower curtain that never gets laundered! And the water doesn't spray everywhere, soaking the floor. So the bathroom definitely gets 5 stars from this Momma! Staff was lovely, always greeted you. The flavored water in the lobby was a nice touch on those hot days. I did not use the bikes. The pool also felt clean...hotel pools can be questionable! My only major complaint would be in the pool area. The music is LOUD and awful! Like really bad elevator music, was obnoxious. It actually prevented me from staying at the pool longer. Get a new playlist, and turn it down! Blasting in the bathroom/hall! Location was PERFECT-2 blocks to Old Town for shops and restaurants."

"Beautiful hotel, our room and view was amazing. My wife and I stayed in the towers. The only downfall of this hotel is the extremely small main pool. We came for the 4th July weekend and were looking forward to spending time in the pool and listening to music, but it was extremely overcrowded. Zero sitting. The pool is just way too small. The water felt nasty. All those people chilling in standing water I can only imagine the filth floating in there. There was an additional pool on the property (Thank god!), but it has no DJ and no bar service on site. It's nice if you want peace and quiet, which we enjoy, but this trip we wanted to be where the action was and that just wasn't possible. In addition, the hotel offers day passes. This also contributed to the pool being overcrowded. My advice, build a bigger pool or limit day passes on holidays so long term paying customers can enjoy the hotel's accommodations. Nice hotel, but we will not be back. Simply because the pool scene is not the greatest. FYI- Zu Zu restaurant was amazing! Everything we ordered was great!"
