The check in was super easy. The room was perfect and better than expected. Everything was spotless and very nice. Only stayed one night but was great! Thanks!
We needed to make an unexpected visit to the Catskills. Finding The Hidden Inn was an unexpected and delightful surprise.
We were greeted by the owner who was friendly and helpful. Our room -the sunshine room - was pleasant and well appointed. Breakfast was available and easily accessible. And for hiker, the rail trail is right outside the backdoor.
Hunter, the bartender was great 👍. Nikki, my Eagles fan 💙 👌 🙌 great. The entire staff was warm, loving ❤️ and great. Thank 😊 🙏 💕 you for making my Dad 👨 and me comfortable. You will see 👀 😉 😏 me again. Lisa and Kurt it was a wonderful 2 days. The food 😋 and drinks 🍸, your staff, I am very happy 😊 😃 😀.
The inn is very pretty. Make sure to have all the instructions available before you arrive. We arrived late at night, nobody was at the front desk and cell phone reception was terrible so it took me a bit of time to find the room number and code to get in. Be ready to take stairs to get to your room. The room was beautiful and so clean. We never got to see any staff on site, but our short stay was very pleasant.
We arrived at night in time for a cocktail and an appetizer.Everything was great .Room was immaculate and quiet. Would definitely stay again if in area .
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, offering a restful stay, and the inn itself was both quaint and stately - full of charm and quiet elegance.
Just a really neat place to stay - off the beaten path in beautiful rolling hills area - owner and staff very nice - truly enjoyed our one night stay.....
Beautifully restored Inn. However, it’s run without people. I arrived, after being misled by my mapping software, and fortunately the owner was in the bar and helped me very graciously to my room. Without him, I would not have known what to do without a lot of email review. I am old, not a techie and that would have added to my exasperation of being misled by the map app.
My room was very well kept. The door was the wrong size or something as it let a lot of light in from the hallway. This would bother some, I suspect, as the room never got dark. No glasses or cups so I had to take my meds by scooping up water with my hands.
Amazing mattress and bed linen. This is probably the #1 thing in any hotel/inn/whatever room. I slept very well. Two lights in the bathroom; one overhead with wall switch and one over the mirror that I could not figure out how to turn on.
No info pamphlet in the room with Inn info, e.g. breakfast is located here, doors work this way, main door works this way, restaurant requires (?) reservations. I know the look Ma no hands way of operating is probably cost efficient but the word “Inn” sets me up for a real Inn with folks hanging around a living area, or by the fireplace on a cold night, or playing table games in the living area. Not having this OK as long as you know what you are getting into.
Overall a beautiful restoration and if you know the drill a great place to stay.
Spent a birthday here… trundled upstairs to our very clean and comfy bedroom after being absolutely lavished with delicious food and drinks. Think we might just make an annual tradition out of it! Thank you Hidden Inn!
Nice Inn, nice people, really good food!
Rooms are just that, a room but nicely done with new fixtures. It’s a converted old home. 3 levels, no elevator. If I’m ever in the area again, I would stay here.
We stayed at the Hidden Inn in pursuance of our trip to Hobart for the book village and for my birthday on Friday. During our short stay, we felt we had an amazing experience feeling the warmth and hospitality of both Kurt and Lisa. Our room was very comfy and warm. We had a lovely experience at their restaurant Friday night; both Kurt and Lisa embraced us all during my birthday meal. The food was also delicious.
It was very spacious, clean. The food was great! The only part that was difficult was the WIFI. We were unable to connect to any apps, and the tv stream voice box was bad, we had to read what it was saying :/. All in all a very nice place to stay:)
