As much as I hate to share our “hidden gem,” this is my favorite place to stay in the area (when we aren’t camping). Great family-run business with everything you need for a short or longer term stay. Lovely family runs it and keeps it in great shape.

This is a great place to stay in the summer if you prefer to be a little outside of the bustle of South Fork. 10 miles south of town, it gives you an easy drive either way to Creede for summer theatre and events, or to Pagosa Springs. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchens, and a nice hot tub to relax in after long days.

For the most part the room was clean. Was very impressed in the beginning. However, every night when we went to bed- I could not breathe and had to take an emergency inhaler meds. The last night we were there in moving things around noticed nastiness at the edge of the top of the bed in between the walls. Since allergic to dust and mites ; thinking that was the culprit. = 99% of the time we check the bed and because of how impressed we were with 1st impressions we did not check bedding like we normally do. Kitchen was clean- useful with everything needed for most part- Had issues getting oven on but owners husband came to check it out- Hot Tub was supposed to be set hours but when we wanted to use it was still closed. Bathroom lock was reversed so couldn't lock door but, lol someone could lock you in it. Toilet paper roll was busted. BEST THING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS HOW POLITE & FRIENDLY OWNERS WERE & SCENERY... Room was beautiful but not as clean as should be for sleeping... Tried to talk to owner last day before they opened but, PHONE SERVICE IS HIT & MISS and she couldn't here me but just a little bit. We left 1 day early bc of the breathing issues and not being able to sleep- Owner was gracious and gave 1 day refund since we left 1 day early.

The entire 360° stay was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time in South Fork because of this location. The room, super clean, the staff were super responsive and the noise we expected to be bad from the highway wasn't noticeable at all. Talk about a home away from home. We'll definitely stay here again if we're ever in the neighborhood.

Very cute place to stay! Beautiful cabin style rooms with coffee and stream a small walk away. Pet friendly and care takers were so nice! This is our 2nd stay and look forward to our stays there when we drive thru south fork.

Beautiful views and excellent hospitality. The neighborhood is comfy and we were encouraged to fish in the creek, and the hot tub was a very relaxing way to start the day. Will remember for future travels!

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel/motel/cabins. The facility was not adequately maintained, and cleanliness was a major concern throughout the property. The room and common areas appeared neglected and did not meet reasonable standards for guest accommodations. Another significant issue was the lack of exterior lighting. The parking lot and walkways were poorly lit, creating safety concerns and making it difficult to navigate the property at night.

Quiet and beautiful location about 10 minutes from the south fork township. Full size kitchen and great bathroom, staff were very friendly! Internet is very patchy so just be mindful if you can't be without for 24 hours!

Room was clean, beds were soft and the toilet height was low. Overall property had a weird vibe but you could walk to the water along the bottom of the mountain edge behind the motel. Owners live on property and were very nice. Cell service poor and internet connection was extremely spotty-good for unplugging but bad for mapping. Signage for property is not clear.

Loved staying here. Cabin motel vibes. Front office has everything you might need, including a roaring fire. Great value, room had a full kitchen and even a back door which made it better than a hotel. Can’t beat the location if you’re skiing wolf creek.
