The room was very spacious and comfortable. We could strap on our skis outside the door and skate over to the lift within a couple minutes and could ski right up to the front door on the way out. Very convenient.
Excellent location for skiing on a mountain that has great runs and short lift lines. The people and staff were very friendly and helpful. The unit was nice. It was well stocked. We had a little trouble with the wifi as the network that was supposed to be ours didn't come up as an option on our phones or laptop. However the staff provided us with an alternate network and password that sufficed. The village is small and quaint, but for a 4 day weekend excursion, it provided enough variety of eating options. The store provided basics, but I would suggest stopping at a grocery store in SLC if you really want to stock up on food options. The spa was wonderful. The leg restoration treatment is exceptional after a few days of skiing to rejuvenate those quads. Overall, a very pleasant time

Great Location / Excellent Slopes
The Slopes are fantastic. The proximity to the slopes is wonderful. Can't beat walking to the lifts. The kids loved the heated pool. The condo resort staff were friendly and helpful.
Be sure to buy your groceries, beer, wine, and liquor before you drive up the mountain. There are no stores on the mountain.
The choice of restaurants are limited. There is an buffet that is super expensive and a "finer" dining restaurant that doesn't have enough wait staff. We were told that we would have an hour wait for dinner when most of the tables were empty.
Our master bed's mattress must of been picked up from a Motel 6 dumpster. Unbelievably low quality. My wife moved to the couch and I was stuck with sleepless/restless nights. I believe the condo's are individually owned, but still. Have some standards...
Experience exceeded our expectations.
Condo was in excellent condition, perfectly comfortable, and ideally located. It has all the amenities expected for the perfect mountain vacation.
What a great mountain and accommodations. Stay in the village and you have a choice of a few different restaurants and they are all excellent. The entire staff is friendly and helpful.
We spent a night here over a ski weekend. Nice room, great location in the village with easy access to the ski runs. But, for the price, doesn't feel very luxurious. Just a nice, not great, hotel room but the location and amenities almost make up for the high price.

Could have managed situation better
We stayed at the Solitude condominium resort from 2/18 to 2/20 and the morning of the day we were to check in the entire lodge lost power due to a heavy winter storm with high winds. They only ran a generator for a restaurant to run but all of the condos were without heat and hot water and ability to cook or refrigerate anything. Glow sticks were passed around so that people could navigate around hallways and flashlights were given to us around 11pm when we asked for them (they were not given to us when we checked into the room). Keys were not made for us until the next day when the power returned so each time we had left the resort (which was often because there was no reason for us to stay in the dark), we had to be let back in. In general, we felt that the resort could have handled the power outage a little better for its customers. When the pilot light went out in the gas fireplace in our room (the only working source of heat!) I was basically told that it was an easy process that I could do myself and no one was sent to help me out. I eventually did figure it out, but not after about 20min of reading the directions and hoping for the best when I turned the gas on and off. We had to ask, at checkout, for a refund, instead of being offered it right off the bat when we were checking in to a situation that was almost guaranteed not to be resolved until the next day. Thankfully, and in a very redeeming way, we were reimbursed the first night's stay.
This place is counter to the big resort experience. Lovely little village, super friendly staff everywhere. Reminds one of a chalet in the Alps. Condos in the Powderhorn where nice, clean and felt pretty new. My 8 year old daughter proclaimed the ski school was the best she's ever been to (her 4th). No lines, plenty of amenities, relatively inexpensive, it's a good value.
Fantastic hotel in the mountains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After staying here you would be a fool to stay in downtown Salt Lake. This place is 35 minutes from the city and half the cost for this time of year. Just make sure you rent a car and you are good to go!!!
Absolutely wonderful stay at this condo located in Solitude, Utah. We were a bit off-season so it was very quiet, which was what we wanted. Close to great hiking and scenic views. Nearby restaurants (Honeycomb Grill and Silver Fork Lodge) were awesome. Overall a wonderful experience.

Solitude resort in March.....nothing better...EVER!
One of the best ski vacation spots i've ever been. Accomodations were impecible! Had everything we could have ever wanted in a ski vacation: Great room with comfortable beds, great view from room, even better; three hot tubs to chose from (two pool side# and one more private separate from pool in a secluded section of property. Skiing is within walking distance #150 yds#. In March #hush hush....don't tell anyone!) there is great snow fall and no....."I MEAN NO LIFTLINES"! Not huge steeps, but one of the best familiy ski locations in all of Utah! We'll definately be back! : ) : )
This is our 3rd stay at Solitude & have stayed in the condos & townhouses. We love this mountain & resort. If you expect a lot of hoopla & action this is not the place. The focus is on the powder & outdoor activities. Great for kids, quiet, lovely. Excellent ski school, love the yurt & snow shoeing trails. There is never a line for lifts. Spa is great. Honeycomb grill has outstanding food & drink. Don't expect après ski, etc. We made half our meals in the condo which is also great for kids. Really nice families- kids made friends in ski school & at the pool/club. We'll be back!
Super stay! Wow what a convenient place at a great Utah ski resort! The room was spacious, warm, EZ hill access and the place came with an outdoor hot tub to boot! We were thrilled to death and would gladly stay there again.
I took my 10 year old grandson on a ski trip and this place was great. The unit itselfwas a one bedroom but had a curtained off area with a full bed and bunk with a tv. My gradson loved it and dubbed it his cave.
Absolutely enjoyable stay. We were there during the summer so the resort was quiet. Just the way we like it. The grounds are beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The condos are large and comfortable. We liked the full kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The trails into the woods from the resort were amazing. We saw multiple deer and a couple of moose on our walk. We will definately be back!
