Great spot on top of the water

We really enjoyed our stay at the Orca Lodge. The view is amazing and sitting on the deck while the tide is in, feels like you're on top of the water. The hosts are wonderful people that helped us out and were friendly and hospitable.

Awesome view, excellent communication, small but well designed interior with natural wood shelves and heated bathroom floor! Met lovely cleaning lady Tina. We recommend Coho Joe's for breakfast and a hike to beautiful Melvin's bog.

The studio was perfect for our short stay on Malcolm Island - was super well equipped and we loved the warmed bathroom floor. The view out over the water was amazing and we had a perfect sunset.I enjoyed the history of Sointula and the icing on the cake was a visit to Bere Point where we saw Orca come in to the rubbing beach. Amazing! Thanks Lynne for your hospitality!

The room we stayed in was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including toaster oven, microwave, small coffee pot, kettle, hot plate, pots pans etc.. There was a small BBQ on the deck with utensils and it was very clean as well. We loved the deck, it was right on the ocean and we could hear the waves come underneath the deck at high tide. The view was spectacular!!! We would definitely recommend staying here, and when back to Sointula this will be where we stay. The host contacted us the day before we were to arrive and let us know about how the check in worked and also sent us an email with all the information we needed to check in as well as places to see on the island

The most gorgeous deck on the island, and a beautifully appointed two bedroom dog-friendly suite. Our hosts, Lynne and Len were friendly and informative. We had a fabulous time and hope to return soon!

We had an excellent stay at Orca Lodge (unit 3). The apartment was very well laid out and clean on arrival. Would happily go back there is we are ever back on Sointula.

Loved that this property was clean and right on the waterfront. High tide came right up under the deck so you could hear the waves gently lapping. Close to amenities and marina.

It’s almost like “walking aboard” at the Orca Lodge! The quirky boat house is a welcoming spot right on the water. It feels like a much-loved family cottage. We were traveling with children and they loved the ladder and loft. Waking up to the ocean truly under the deck was just spectacular.

This was a perfect getaway for the two of us: clean, attractive, and with an awesome view. When the tide is in, the ocean is literally right under the deck. It's compact but has all the amenities. It's a short walk into town. We highly recommend the lodge.
